We are a traditional country pub situated right on the edge of the severn estuary. We serve bar meals downstairs on thursdays, fridays and saturdays along with our popular sunday lunch. We also have a steakhouse restaurant upstairs which opens on a friday and saturday night and serves "steak on a stone" which is a hot volcanic rock that cooks your steak to perfection at your table. This restaurant is strictly adult only because of the hot rock system.

Very friendly.

Popped in for a drink yesterday lunchtime, no food served on Mondays (lunchtime, not sure about evening) very impressed with friendliness of bar lady. Will return perhaps to try food.

Just dropped in for a drink after a short walk on the Coast Path. My impression was it was very run down, with drab dirty old seating, carpet, decor etc. Really did not fancy food in that environment. Not that impressed with the section of Coast Path either. Lots of rubbish around the steps leading from the pub car park... More

great lunch, roast beef and yorkshire pudding for me, the others in our party had lamb. Both were very good and the accompanying vegetables were high quality and nicely cooked and presented. Delicious puddings too. Everything was home cooked. Very friendly and accommodating staff, we felt comfortable and welcome. We hope to return, one of the most relaxed meals I've... More

Staying in the area our host recommended this pub. We went there in the day and had a drink and decided to book for the evening. This is a family run pub which we liked and found every member we spoke to very chatty! Went to the restaurant in the evening and we were the only 4 in the restaurant... More

My partner and I stopped here for lunch after walking along the sea wall. One large burger and chips was enough to feed us both!

We would like to thank all the staff for the help, support and hand of friendship they extended to my daughter and our family in the lead up to her wedding last Saturday. Although this has been a long-standing 'local' for her new father-in-law, the staff have all rallied round to enlist other locals in supporting what turned out to... More

I booked this for myself and my partner with a few of our close friends after a recommendation from my hairdresser. I was unsure what to expect. Driving through what looked like countryside to get to the restaurant.Arriving we checked in with a bar man and went outside to wait for our table. It is very peaceful with pretty surroundings.There... More
