Unfortunately we didn't manage to eat here as we left before he opened but he is such a wonderfully approachable guy and gave us the run of his magnificent gardens which he personally maintains, a bit of a character too ...

Flawless. Fantastic staff, food and wine. The whole experience was stunning. One of the best dining experiences I have had. Beautiful premises. Thank you Nick, Holly and everyone.

We booked to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and hoped that it would be good. In fact, it surpassed all expectations. The setting is divine. The food was cooked to perfection. Our only difficulty was finding the restaurant but the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The meeting and greet was very welcoming and even offered to organise a taxi back and could leave the car, the service was spot staff very friendly and attendive. Based on the reviews I booked a table of 8 + 1 baby for Saturday 28 June 2014. It was very discretely located so we got lost driving there and was 30 mins late. Nick and staff was extremely accommodating and forgiving of our tardiness. The ground was wonderful. The place was comfortable, welcoming and homely. Felt right at home.... More

Tiny, eclectic, unusual dining rooms with interesting gardens and very good food. Slightly mad owner/ chef adds to the atmosphere. Chat goes on until late so don't stay over if you want an early night, but a great experience.

1 The Garden Ensure you approach The Cors on foot so that you can enjoy the gardens as you walk to the restaurant. The gardens are truly stunning and it's definitely worth spending time enjoying the views. Walking then allows you to leave the restaurant at dusk when the gardens take on a completely new feel. :-) 2. The Restaurant... More

Lovely gardens to sit in and enjoy a drink beforehand. And the food is very good provided you don't mind a limited choice and two main course beef dishes (who's idea was that?). Good service and a pleasant atmosphere. Deserts are a weak point; pretty standard "lemon tart" and "sticky toffee pudding" for example. Come on; this isn't a run... More

My wife & myself along with 10 friends booked the Cors for a Sunday lunch with a budget of £35.00 pp and the hosts did themselves proud. House specials were on the menu and the service and passion shone through. The surroundings were to die for and Nick and the staff were a delight and fun. A short walk to... More

We had a great meal in the Cors the food was excellent service the same. The experience starts as you walk up through the beautiful gardens, then into the building itself. It is made up of small rooms which makes it quite cosy, the decor is quirky and adds to the whole experience. We had a very enjoyable evening,
