The best breakfasts in Pembrokeshire

This is now the regular Sunday breakfasts for my wife Christine and myself. My favourite, the Welsh breakfast combines the traditional bacon, egg etc with cockles and lavabread, truly a taste from heaven, but scrambled egg and salmon or just toast is equally well cooked and tasty. We have also had... read more

We only found this place on our last day, what a breakfast! The staff were welcoming and only beaten by the food, fantastic bacon sarnies, huge sausages and toast to die for. You can take your well behaved dog in which for us is a bonus. You can chill with a coffee and they have fast wifi. If you are... More

We stayed in Trefin overnight as part of a long and arduous charity walk. we stayed at the Old School Hostel which was terrific, had a comical eating experience at The Ship Inn which wasn't terrific but had a cracking breakfast at this charming cafe. 2 out of 3 for Trefin then and a mist-do-better for the Ship. The Mill...... More

This cafe has become one of our 'must return' treats on our regular visits to Pembrokeshire. It's such a good place - great coffee and delicious freshly baked cakes - irresistable! We've called for coffee, had breakfast and lunch (not all on the same day!) and been impressed each time! The lunch choices are creative and tasty - or the... More

Warm, friendly welcome, great food for fair price, The Mill never disappoints. Dogs are welcome inside (wooden floors - always immaculately clean). The Full Breakfast, fruit scone with clotted cream and jam, Victoria sponge, pancake and bacon stack, scrambled eggs and salmon are all delicious - so fresh and beautifully made. Very good coffee too. There is local art work... More

Stopped here for lunch with friends. We had a wonderful meal and the staff couldn't have been more helpful for us and for some of the more elderly customers, such care was a delight to watch. We will certainly return for further meals and will recommend the mill to all our friends. Well done for great food and the best... More

We first had a lunch in the Mill while we were out on a walk which was very tasty. As everyone was raving about breakfast, we came back another morning and were not disappointed!

After reading the good reviews, we went for breakfast.,it certainly exceeded our expectations! Delicious, proper sausages, and generous portions. Set us up for the day! We also bought of book of circular walks from the cafe, and discovered a great 2 hour walk which included a stop at the sloop inn for a pint! Perfect day, will certainly be back... More
