Fantastic food with fantastic service

Food was beautiful, staff were fantastic, wine was delicious - I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. The restaurant is widely recommended in St. Davids so booking is probably a good idea.

a return visit. Went for the offer if you eat before 5.45 - nice ambiance and good food. Cocktails to start were very nice and we all cleared all our plates - a reflection of breathing sea air all day but also of the quality of the food.

We've been to Cwtch every time we have visited St Davids…and since we're coming from the US, it's not as often as we'd like to visit! We are vegan, and our meals have been exceptional each time. Much care is given to the preparation and the presentation, and it has always been delicious. We're planning another trip in 2016 and... More

The food we had was very well prepared and presented. There is a good selection of cocktails for pre dinner drinks as well as a wine list. The fish and meat dishes we had were cooked well and the flavours were enjoyable. A side dish of vegetables is included with the meals. The service we received was friendly and attentive. As... More

Thank you for your review and your comments of each aspect of our offer. Great to hear that the food was cooked well and the flavours were enjoyable and that the service was friendly and attentive. The upstairs restaurant is the smaller, quieter area and we have many guests requesting upstairs so is purely a matter of preference. When we... More

We went about 6.30 because that was the only table we could book. It felt like they were still in sausage and chips mode. The waiting staff were very young and a bit teenage shoe shop assistant. The boss seemed tired and preoccupied but may have been on her feet all day. The food was better than OK and and... More

Thank you for your comments and we can only stress again that booking early is advised as we are a small and extremely busy restaurant. We can only offer times of tables that are available and haven’t been booked already and booking early will provide a greater choice of times. I don’t quite understand your ‘sausage and chips mode’ as... More

The building and staff are pleasant although we felt very rushed through. The vegetarian main and starter consisted of the same ingredients so I asked for an alternative and was told that wasn't possible. As such, my food was fine but I would expect more creativity and variety for the price, especially given the menus change daily. My husband's steak... More

Thank you for your comments. We allocate 2 hours for the earlier evening bookings which provides a generous amount of time so there shouldn’t have been any need for you to feel rushed. We operate a small menu of 6 to 7 choices on starters, mains and desserts. Our starters normally consist of at least 2 vegetarian options and the... More

Visited the Cwtch Restaurant again last night and had a delightful dinner. Although the restaurant was full, the marvellous staff still provided excellent service and with pleasant smiles. The food as usual was excellent. The Cwtch is establishing itself as one of the best restaurants in N Pembrokeshire.

I enjoyed the two course dinner for £26 plus a supplement of £4.75 for the lobster dish. I thought this good value and especially liked the dish of freshly cooked vegetables which came with the main course and is so often overlooked these days. I am personally not keen on eating in the evening so I was sorry that they... More

Thank you for your review and lovely to hear you enjoyed the lobster. We had a limited amount of lobster in for that evening and wanted it to be a spectacular dish so decided on having the entire lobster meat on each dish ....hence the supplement, which is indeed good value. Thank you for mentioning the vegetables too! Hope to... More

On a long weekend break, we ate here 3 nights in a row as it was so good. Both food and wine were very high quality and meals were beautifully presented. Staff were really friendly and service was excellent. Fixed price menu is not cheap but good value for what you get. Portions are generous too and produce sourced locally.

Really good food. Friendly, efficient service. Lived up to its reputation. Loved the starters of ham hock terrine whilst my husband had butternut squash soup. Disappointed that the Sewen was off the menu but my main of sea bass was stunning as was my husbands shoulder of lamb.

Thank you for your comments and lovely to hear you enjoyed the food and service. It’s great to hear the food choices and how much they were enjoyed!
