Outstanding Catfish

Had the Catfish in Crawfish sauce. Excellent meal at a great price. Lots of interesting Millington history on the wall which added to the ambiance.

As you will find there are not a lot of dining places in Millington in comparison to Memphis. Old Timers is a locally owned and operated restaurant that you should definitely try when in Millington! There are daily lunch specials that are awesome! On Wednesday' the lunch special is Corned Beef and Cabbage and it is great! The menu is... More

Staff was very friendly. Many locals go there for lunch. Dinner was nothing to write home about but friendly staff.

I am to visit small mom and pop places, but this place fooled me. The food was generic and appetizer portions were embarrassing.

For a Millington Landmark this rustic building has seen much history as depicted on picture in the main dinning area. We were there for second visit with a group. The service was mediocre. One server for 24 people. The food was ok but nothing to brag on. The Shrimp & grits was to supposed to be a cajun style. It... More

Had a group gathering and the service was not to bad for the amount of people we had. Food came out hot and fair quick. Good home cooking....not outstanding but good....no complaints!!

This place is fantastic. From the rustic décor to the wide selection of wonderful food. If you are ever in Millington and don't eat here, you are missing a culinary experience.

Restaurant is in an old historic building. Wood floors, walls, chairs and tables (no booths). A train runs around the upper walls. Food was excellent. I had ribs and my husband had the BEST chicken fried steak he ever had. Would love to go back when possible.

We went here based on a previous TripAdvisor review. We were in town to see the Blue Angels and needed a good place to eat. The restaurant atmosphere is so quaint. There are lots of old tyme photos of the area and there is a train that runs around a track at top of restaurant through little towns. Food was... More

We came here for a taste of local food and were not disappointed. The fried shrimp were large, had a wonderful breading, and were perfectly cooked. The half smoked chicken was equally good, and the side of turnip greens was interesting, and tasty. Served with corn bread and rolls, by a delightful waiter named Maurice who was a great part...
