Super spicy and Packed with flavour

we had a spicy burrito for lunch in this pub. My mouth was burning because it was so spicy but I could stop eating because it tasted so good!

I have been visiting this watering hole since 1978 so I have seen many changes, landlords come and go but the location remains the same spectacular view under the shadow of Pembroke castle the birth place of the Tudor dynasty. Great place to go after a long walk to fill with ale and decent pub grub. Where else, can you go... More

You won't go home hungry that's for sure. The Waterman offers a simple pub menu and executes it well. Attentive service. If you can, choose a window seat. Even on a dark wet November night the view across the water to the castle is excellent.

Best food in Pembroke. The creamy leek sauce is to die for. Great vegetarian options. Really nice location, view over water and Pembroke castle.

Sunday lunch was very good value for money, we would recommend. The views of the castle and riverside also add to the experience.

To be honest we drove right past the pub as it did not look anything special, however after asking a local shopkeeper in the town for a recommendation she directed us to the Watermans with a promise of a lovely "Steak and Ale Pie". We went through the livelier bar area through to the restaurant at the back. We had... More
