Went to eat here today, was served by manager/owner I think and her attidude was worse than the chips.... When complained about hair in food she was dismissive and rude like I was lying, And knocked a whole 75p off my bill reluctantly, she needs to sort out her attitude. Chips also were like they were triple fried(disgusting) Other waitress... More

I think "gastro" pub is over-stretching it - reasonably-priced pub grub, but in a lovely setting. Don't bother if you're after a fantastic foodie experience, but for our famliy of six it was a good find for a straightforward lunch after exploring the castle.

One of the best meals we have had in Pembroke. The restaurant is not exactly salubrious but this is easily forgotten by the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the meals. We were lucky enough to get a table outside overlooking the Mill Pound which was very pleasant. Outstanding memory was the garlic bread!!!!!!! Excellent.

Stopped here for lovely sunny lunch. View is unrivalled, well kept window boxes tumbling over the swan filled river, with uninterrupted views of Pembroke Castle. Lots of very nice fish dishes available via the specials board, we however plumped for scampi and lasagne, hearty pub favourites. Service fine, food fine, suspect specials board well worth a try next time. Two... More

We decided on the pub due to the fabulous setting and a window seat. The beer is great and the food represented fantastic value with such huge portions. The service was second to none. Thanks for a fabulous lunch.

We have eaten here a couple if times and the good has always been excellent. We came for my biggest sisters 18th birthday meal, mummy phoned and they gladly reserved a table for us (there were 12 of us!) everyone's meals were delicious, hot and great value. Kids meals under £5 all adult meals great value. Lovely position overlooking millpond.... More

The setting was great, with balcony seating overlooking the pond. The service was very good, with a good array of beers. Well worth a visit.

After spending a great day walking round Pembroke castle my family an I were ready for some much needed food. After asking around for recommendations on some where suitable to eat with the three children we were directed to the waterman's Arms an certainly wasn't disappointed. The pub has a balcony that over looks a large pond where swans live.... More
