I loved Browns in Pembroke. Having grown up in the 70's and enjoyed what I call 'proper' cafés like this all my life, it was great to find one in Pembroke. No airs and graces, posh coffee's or exotic menu's that are hard to understand, let alone get your children to eat! Just good, honest food at reasonable prices. Friendly... More

I recently visited browns while on holiday and was very pleased with the food I had, it was a basic meal but lovely. Although The decor is out dated and could do with a nice fresh look the food and staff are very pleasant, if they could update the place it would be a lot more attractive for people to... More

Couldn't ask for a better fish and chips. The staff were just fantastic, very helpful. They always made sure we were happy with our food an drink. They have a lovely seating area outside in the sun, just brilliant overall, would recommend to any holiday maker, and anyone who hasn't eaten at browns.

The thick mist that sits in the air whilst you sit at your table is just awful. I now feel really gubby stink of chip fat! This issue needs to be addressed urgently. Shame really as the food was quite nice.

Some years back when old Mrs Brown ran the fish & chip part of the restaurant - this was a first class place to buy F&C. Since her sad demise it has gone down hill. And todays offering must surely rank amongst the worst fish and chips I have ever experienced - bland white chips (discoloured where they have not... More

Have eaten here a number of times - always friendly. When my Mum had requests about how she wanted her coffee etc they were happy to oblige. Great fish and chips. Very good value for money. Lovely breakfasts.

We turned up recently for a late lunch, all wanting different things, some 'off menu'. Everything came up on time, which was impressive for a group of 9. Good portions and good value. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Popped in there for lunch today. Good honest food and fair prices. They have a fish & Chip shop attached so the choice of fish and chips for lunch was fresh from the fryers. The service was good and the staff friendly. Only downside is that the toilets are down a fair number of stairs so may not be so... More
