Great venue

Fantastic location along with good food one of the better places to eat in Pembroke. Selection of lunch time foods varied lovely cakes all seems to be freshly made slightly expensive but with the castle and river as a backdrop on a sunny day what more could you ask for

Group of 4 for lunch, we all had frittata from the specials board, which all looked great. Coffee cups are generous and coffee is good quality. Cakes were too tempting to ignore! Well worth a stop for lunch or a slice of cake.

My husband and I had a day off together during the week and found ourselves in Pembroke. We had eyed the Cornstore Cafe from the public parking, Waited for a huge swan to cross the road and then we walked up and down the market street first. By far the most interesting cafe we spotted. We found a small table... More

We simply wanted a place to stop and feed the baby, it was late in the day and as it turns out they were close to finishing up but I wouldn't of known. They were polite and courteous and the cakes were delicious. The hummingbird is so good. Coffee superb. Highly recommend.

My family and I love coming to this place for lunch and having a gorgeous cake for pudding. The food is beautiful and fresh and the desserts are even better, especially the cheesecakes. All the ladies that work there are lovely, but Harriet served our table and was lovely, professional and hard working. Great place to stop for lunch if... More

After a wonderful visit round Pembroke castle we stopped for a late lunch, the food is so so lovely, everything has a lot of attention, not just your boring side salad was filled with colour. Beautiful setting along the river for a coffee in the sunshine

I have been here a couple of times with friends, however, given the choice, I wouldn't bother again. The prices are high and the food is average. The coffee is weak and watery, really disappointingly "British-style." The quiche I had was awful. Inedible, thick and doughy pastry. It looked the part, though. Watching the staff make one's food can be... More

Popped in for a light bite to eat after visiting the castle. We sat inside the main café area but there is also a smaller building opposite to sit in which has views of Pembroke castle. Sandwiches come with crisps and salad and there is a good selection of cakes. The chocolate and Guinness cake was really good (£2.75). Order... More

We have often had lunch here, most recently on 2 May. It is a small café with friendly staff and good wholesome food at reasonable prices. If the weather is nice you can sit outside close to the moat around Pembroke Castle, with great views of the castle. It is only a short distance across the Mill bridge from the... More
