My food arrived 20 minutes before my friends, literally a minute after I ordered. This instantly suggested it had been shoved in the microwave and heated up after a luckier customer cancelled the meal. The plate felt like it had reached sub zero temperatures, and the display of my meal looked like something a five year old could make. The... More

Me and my girlfriends went for a meal. My friends food came about 20 mins before mine, her plate was cold and looked like something a child could make! My plate was too hot, I burnt my rist! The popadum was stale and the onion Bajis were burnt! The salad that came with the burger was poor- it consisted of... More

Visited on a Friday when F&C, peas and a soft drink is on special - under £6.00. I have had some shocking meals here (Sunday lunch being the worst) and haven't been in for ages, but I have to say that the fish and chips are really good. Excellent fish freshly cooked and piping hot - so the batter is... More

Having been disappointed with other restaurant / pubs in town my wife and I opted for Wetherspoons on the last night of our stay and were satisfied with our meal and the service. I have found that Wetherspoons always gives good value. There is always a wide choice of real ales at sensible prices and although the menu is basic, overall... More

Stopped here on a number of occasions. Perfect for a lunch in town, you know that the food will be on par with the rest the wetherpoons chain. Just enough food on the plate, tasty, variety to choose from on the menu and well priced. I've also had a number of business related meet ups here. Quiet-ish atmosphere, easy to... More

Got to be about one of the most child friendly places I have been in without going abroad.Three grandchildren always a nightmare to attempt but the service is brill,The only difficulty is you have to have someone with you to order as two in highchairs are not easy to be left whilst you place an order,

Good price but you get what you pay for, but nice and clean and you can eat the food, these type of places have room in most towns wish them well for the future.
