Always a good meal at the Taj I own a guest house and always send them here not one person have complained about the food, I always book this place for my scuba diving club and everyone enjoys the meal. The staff are very friendly. The meals are well priced. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a really good restaurant. Slightly more expensive than some but well worth it. Good variety on the menu and the food is well spiced and very tasty. Nice ambience in the restaurant and good friendly service - would definitely recommend.

Ate hear on a weekday night and despite them having a booking for a party of 45, they gave us a table and managed to serve us quickly. Food was great and lots of choice on the menu (more than you'd probably see elsewhere). Would recommend.

Another Bangladeshi restaurant, ostensibly serving "Indian" food. I found the curries and naans mildly sweet, which is NOT the way (north) "Indian" curries are. The decor is kitschy, and I found the food way too overpriced. All in all, just another drab, soulless curryhouse

Being dyed in the wool Indians - from Bombay, no less - we shy away from "Indian" curry shops which are not Indian but Bangladeshi. I have always wondered why they are ashamed of their origin and choose to masquerade as Indian resaturants. That's bye the bye. Marjorie was not in the mood to cook for visiting friends so we... Restaurant is located on the corner of a busy junction with little to no road parking outside. The interior looks rather 1st class compared to exterior. Opens at 5.30 in the evening, a bonus as most its 6pm. Good choice of food to choose from. I had Lamb Tikka Pasanda with Pilau Rice and a plain Naan. All were excellent... More

Food was nice although my dhansak was spicier than I am used to. Mushroom rice was delicious. Coke was flat & Not the most attentive service. Asked for more drinks twice but they never arrived.

This was all wrong for me - I still feel a bit incensed. Flavourless and slow. The pickles that came with the (flavourless/stale?!) popadoms were very uninspiring (I cant help but keep using the term FLAVOURLESS) , but they were nothing compared with the main courses that came next. Jalfrezi was 'sweet' with no flavour of fresh spices, chilli or... More

Booked a table here a week in advance - arrived on time and nothing had been made ready for us. After a 20 min wait we were finally seated, but it took a while for orders to be taken and for drinks and starters to be served. No mains within an hour of arrival, and we were on the point... More

Ate here after a long day out sightseeing in Pembrokeshire. Had a really nice curry. I live in London and have eaten at some of the best Asian restaurants and the meal I had here would sit alongside those. Great service and good value too. Recommended.
