I like places that are consistent, The Georges fits the bill. I have been going there for years. The food is always good. On Tuesday I had the Cypriot Macaroni and it was yum. I like the ambiance, its a lovely place to be. I can recommend it to ladies who lunch and if you are a woman on your... read more

I ate at the Georges on a recent trip to Pembrokeshire, and always make an effort to visit when I'm in the area, as the food is always of good quality, the staff friendly and the surroundings unlike anywhere else I've seen! Simple dishes cooked on the premises from good ingredients is a recipe for success that many restaurants seem... More

I regularly visit The George's with groups of friends and my boyfriend and we absolutely love it. The food is divine and such a high quality, the whole place is quirky and filled with a unique vibe and the staff make you feel like one of the family - even when they're rushed off their feet. They bend over backwards... More

My meal was selected from the specials board....deep fried scampi at 9.50. Half a dozen chips with a similar portion of scampi on a stone cold plate was presented at the table. Consumption time: 4... Lovely welcome as always, with personable and attentive service. We had a goat's cheese salad and a beef goulash with sweet potato fries on the side. All from the special's board. All lovely, really tasty salad with some of their home made plum jam. Beef in the goulash was melt in the mouth. Ordered desserts again, all from the specials... More

We regularly partake of the hospitality but I decided to surprise the wife with a birthday lunch. Service, as alway personable and fun. Food cooked to order, so a bit of a wait but well worth it. Local ingredients cooked well! Everything on the walls/in the establishment is for sale, and is well-appointed. Just love the food, atmosphere and personalities... More
