The perfect package!

If you are looking for delicious home made food, amazing hospitality and service .. then the Georges is your place. Yesterday, I ordered the 'Steak Diane' which was accompanied by the 'Skinny Sweet Potato Fries .. it was a triumph. It's not often I order a dessert when I dine out but on this... read more

I used to come here often, the food is lovely. I came with my toddler the other day and this restaurant is quite anti-children. All the trinkets on the wall are lovely, but with big signs noting "ALL BREAKAGES MUST BE PAID FOR", when you can't get away from things is a bit annoying. They didn't have a high chair,... More

We're local residents and have enjoyed visiting The Georges for years. For a recent special family birthday, however we were left feeling very disappointed with the service of some of the members of staff. We booked a week in advance and we were really looking forward to spending time in our favorite restaurant in town. As soon as we walked... More

We had a lovely lunch that included duck salad (highly recommended!) and a chicken salad. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food, setting and service. Excellent layout that provided a unique experience. Looking forward to visit again.

A must-visit cafe, intermingled within a quirky shop, with delicious food and friendly service. Don't forget to check out the back of the shop/restaurant.

Visited on recommendation and what a find. Best bacon buttie I've had in a long time, and our friends had scones with cream - no disappointment there! The cafe is amazing, lots of things to see and buy & the Garden has lovely relaxing views. A bit off the beaten track but well worth it!

A blissful afternoon spent in the charming garden at the rear of the georges. What could be nicer than a freshly made goat's cheese salad and crusty bread. I love the sprouted seeds and home made dressing. A delightful place to chill out with chilled wine and the usual friendly welcome.

I was away on holiday to Stratford On Avon so missing my favourite restaurant! Took a Dine@Home meal for the first night in the apartment! Lush lasagne and my friend had a hearty cottage pie. It made life so easy after the journey - just pop in the oven and open the wine! A taste of home when in England... More
