Marvellous quirky cafe

Visited on recommendation and what a find. Best bacon buttie I've had in a long time, and our friends had scones with cream - no disappointment there! The cafe is amazing, lots of things to see and buy & the Garden has lovely relaxing views. A bit off the beaten track but well worth it!

A blissful afternoon spent in the charming garden at the rear of the georges. What could be nicer than a freshly made goat's cheese salad and crusty bread. I love the sprouted seeds and home made dressing. A delightful place to chill out with chilled wine and the usual friendly welcome.

I was away on holiday to Stratford On Avon so missing my favourite restaurant! Took a Dine@Home meal for the first night in the apartment! Lush lasagne and my friend had a hearty cottage pie. It made life so easy after the journey - just pop in the oven and open the wine! A taste of home when in England... More

The food is always good, particularly the salads. The walled garden is very pleasant to eat in, and the staff are very friendly. There is also an interesting shopping area, with rather different shoes clothes, jewellery and sculptures. You can also buy home made frozen meals to take home with you. A good place to eat in Haverfordwest, and worth... More

Although I've lived in Pembrokeshire for many years, this was my first visit to The Georges. Oh how I have lost out all those years!! Visited here for lunch and the quirkiness and friendliness is all around you. Lovely restaurant with a variety of seating options surrounded by art, pictures, local produce and much more. Good menu, well presented food... More

Every meal I have had here has been exceptional. The wait staff is phenomenal. Jeremy and Kay who work the bar are always inviting. I cannot think of a better way to spend an afternoon.

We ate here today for lunch, last minute booking and we both really enjoyed the meal. It was not like a restaurant more like eating at a friends house even though we have never been here before, we will be eating here again though. The food was properly outstanding and we left full. Cannot recommend it enough to be honest.... More
