Called in for a lunch snack. I was very disappointed, firstly its generally expensive. I had the cheese and ham pie, home made but a small portion with a very small salad and coleslaw. I was not asked how the meal was? I waited for it to be cleared, it was not. I was going to have tea and a... More

Stopped here for breakfast before and enjoyed it. Called in for a quick bite at 2 p.m.ish. Ordered Cheese & potato pie and my wife had ham and pineapple toastie. I love Cheese & Potato, so often it is mash potato introduced to a small amount of mild cheddar. This was really tasty with plenty of cheese with more on... More

Arrived late for lunch in Lampeter but found that the Sospan Fach Café still had some very good specials available, all of which were homemade. The quiche and salad was very good, as was the tart stuffed full of juicy blackberries, with a choice of cream, ice cream or custard, all washed down with a homemade elderflower spritzer. The Café... Plain fare but well cooked if simplistic menu. The staff could do with some lessons in manners though!

The food is absolutely beautiful, I recommend this cafe to any visitors, everything is homemade and delicious, lovely service as well, so very polite. The owner, Avril Evans, also makes amazing cakes, cupcakes and giant cupcakes.

As locals we took friends from away here for lunch. Food was lovely but quite expensive. The attitude was dreadful we were made to feel like aliens. We have lived here for 15 years! Never again, can't stand rudeness.

Can't fault the place. The food is great, the atmosphere is very pleasant. Very nice, a bit rustic and traditional. Reasonably priced, too.
