Comforatble coaching inn with great food

This is a comfortably refurbished historic coaching inn with great views over the Vale of Clwyd. We visited for lunch and enjoyed a friendly reception and great well cooked and generous food. Highhly recommended, particularly in summer when the views from the outdoor verandah are superb.

It was a deary Saturday with lots of hailstorm showers so we decided to go for a drive and find somewhere for lunch. I has seen the reviews for this when I had written a review of a place in Ruthin but didn`t know where it was; so we went searching. It is a delightful old fashioned pub .actually not far... More

Lovely pub. It has guest ales all the time and a good selection of wines. I haven't had a bad meal there ever either. It has a nice decking area that gets the sun and has really pleasant views. Lovely local pub

With my mums birthday being around Valentines weekend we often struggle to find somewhere to eat. We were planning on being near Ruthin for a trip out and thought we'd try somewhere new. I rang to book a table in advance and mentioned almost in passing that it was my mum's birthday. When we arrived in the restaurant there was... More

Tucked away in the countryside this place is everything you could ask for on a day out. Excellent food, a great choice of drinks and friendly staff all set in a quaint old pub/restaurant.

Great ales, fantastic food, wide selection of wines. One of the most enjoyable places to dine and just meet socially in the Vale of Clwyd. Excellently run by people with real enthusiasm and passion for fine food and real ale. 5*

Twenty eight of us had a Christmas meal last night at the Three Pigeons and everyone enjoyed their meal which says it all really. We picked from two menus, their special Christmas menu or regular A la carte, again they were happy to have everyone pick from either (in advance, fair enough for an out of town establishment) there was... The food was absolutely beautiful and couldn't fault it in any way, big sized portions at reasonable prices, the variety of ales, larger's and ciders were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, i would defiantly recommend any one to go and visit, even if it was just for a quick drink :)
