Good atmosphere

Very difficult to get a booking in this restaurant as it's so busy. The food was very good as was the service. There is also a very good atmosphere, would recommend.

Getting a booking was difficult, and the parking was just as bad-- but the atmosphere, excellent and friendly service and food made it all very worthwhile. Greatly enjoyed by three adults and three children--we tried to obtain another booking before we left North Wales, but ran out of dates.

We chose this restaurant for it's location as we were ongoing to the ferry at Holyhead and this seemed a good place to stop. We were able to parked immediately outside and keep an eye on our car although I doubt this would have been a problem in this peaceful area. Lovely location on the water with a good terrace... More

Been to Dylan's quite a few times and can never complain! Food always lovely! Service is good and we are usually made to feel very welcome there and they cant do enough for us apart from a few moody looking waitresses who look like they would rather be anywhere but at work. Nice and clean, beautiful views!

We went (again) for lunch and our meals were all lovingly prepared and presented. All the staff were friendly, well trained and knowledgeable about the menu. Francis in particular looked after us and made us very welcome. The location is lovely too, with a view across the Menai Straits. I had the bouillaibase which was served in an edible bread... More

En route to Anglesey to see friends, we tried to get something to eat at Dylans. On arrival, we waited a couple of minutes for our table to be cleared. As we had the dog with us, we went on the outside balcony. The views from our table were lovely overlooking the Menai Straits. Service was quick and both starters... More

Soggy whitebait, undercooked garlic pizza, and foreign object in bread tin. Managers stance was to insinuate that it had come from diners hair, rather than the kitchen, albeit removed from the bill!. Other than bar staff, others seem more interested in seeking tips at time of bill payment, rather than concentrate on providing simple food service standards. Real shame always... More

The food was average apart from the gritty muscles probably due to lack of washing but the main problem was in the terrible service! Once our food was ordered it took an too long to get out just 3 starters but once they came they also brought just one persons main course meaning that they would have to sit and... More

Dear Ella We were obviously concerned that your parents 50th anniversary lunch did not go quite as well as you would have liked. We noticed that all the food that we served was eaten and when we checked back was being enjoyed. Thanks for that. We made an effort to communicate with you during your stay and I am afraid... More

The staff at Dylan's were really polite and made us feel very welcome from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left! Beautiful views of the Menai Bridge and the staff even gave out blankets when it got quite chilly on the balcony, which I thought was a really nice touch. The service was quick and the food... More

Every village or town needs a restaurant of this caliber. The menu is fabulous offering great seafood dishes but also providing quality burgers and pizzas to give perspective and choice to a wide range of pallets. Something for everyone. However Dylan's has gone one step further and is marketing their sauces and slate place mats to enhance their offering. Our... More
