So happy to have gone here

Having read all the reviews Dylan's was a place I definitely wanted to try when me and my partner visited Anglesey. So happy we did. Our waitress was super friendly, made us feel special. I had the mussels which were gorgeous with the bread. My partner (a big burger man) wanted to try something... read more

Well it used to be good. But standards have slipped. My steak was cooked well. But was very chewy. The 1 thing it has going for it is the view. I will return on my next visit home to see if its got any better. The one problem is that it has no decent competition.

Visited with my family (7 of us) and 3 year old who has a peanut and egg allergy. Asked the waitress who we sat down what the 3 year old could have from kids menu and she said she'd go and check. 10mins later no waitress so had to remind her. Came back and told me she could have 2... More

We were recommended Dylan's by our friends who have a holiday home on the island and we weren't disappointed. This is a great restaurant serving excellent food in a brilliant location. My daughter had the scallop and lobster pizza and declared it was the best pizza she has ever eaten! The staff are incredibly friendly and nothing was too much... More

We visited Dylans's on a busy Thursday evening in August and as always we were not disappointed. The staff are always friendly and efficient and the views spectacular. Our food was excellent - had ribeye steaks which were more like enormous fillets. Fantastic place to eat, just wish it were on our doorstep!

Fabulous location and great ambience. Extremely overpriced for basic food. Bread overload with everything. Service felt rushed but friendly. Wouldn't recommend for food maybe coffee or glass of wine to enjoy view.

Dear Lisa Glad you enjoyed the views, and liked our friendly staff. We do get busy at times so that might explain them rushing to satisfy everyone. It has been a marvellous summer down on the island. We are not quite sure what you mean by basic food. We are a family friendly restaurant that looks to highlight the magnificent... More

Eaten here more than once and I don't know why I bother going back! King scallops with Harissa! £10.95 for a starter with no flavour! Won't be returning to this venue for food but the bar-view is stunning!

Dear "Bigbadfoodie", Thank you for such an enlightened and insightful appraisal of our restaurant. It is so pleasing to read such informed opinion from one so expert in his field. Our scallops, by the way are £9.95, served with a samphire and sesame salad - and harissa! -very tasty. Look forward to serving you at the bar next time.... More

This was our second visit to Dylan's & it didn't disappoint at all. The food is excellent, variety very good, lots of seafood, but plenty of other choices too. The service is good, the ambience great & the views spectacular. Beware though, we tried to go again & with 48 hours notice, we couldn't get a table at anything like... More

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and we had a table with fantastic views over the straits. I was disappointed with our meal, 2 frozen chips in my burger meal and when I complained the waitress apologised and returned later and offered me a free tea or coffee. The crusts on the Pizzas were well cooked. Expected better.
