We ate here twice during our week's holiday in Red Wharf Bay and had been before a few years ago. On all three occasions the food was lovely - much better than certain other highly-rated local eateries!

Chose to eat at Bay Café having read previous good reviews. Beautiful location with great views of Benllech Bay but disappointed with quality of food (evening meal). Menu looked appealing and was expecting some wonderful home cooked, freshly prepared food. We both chose the duck (£13.95 each) and got a duck that was dry, chips that appeared to be frozen... More

2nd time we have been this year. Having eaten at Dylans, Oyster catcher, boathouse, the ship etc, this is the best out of all of them. Nice spot, nicely cooked delicious food, good staff, cakes very good. Going again during our 2 week holiday for our anniversary meal (we are 37 years old, just to point out our age views).... More

Popped in whilst walking the coastal path to Red Wharf Bay - lovely position. Very friendly staff and efficient service - only had drinks on this occasion as had lunch at Moelfre, but would definitely return to try the food on a future occasion.

We visited on each of our beach days on our holiday and really enjoyed the food and friendly service The kids menu is fish fingers and similar - no sandwich options (apart from adult menu options) Good location overlooking the bay and would definitely go back for lunch if in the area

We have just returned from Benllech Bay after a superb seven day holiday. Whilst there we visited the Bay Café on four separate occasions, Why four? after the first visit the food was so great we decided this was the place for us to eat. The friendly staff and quality service is what makes Bay Café a must to visit.... More

Very good food and service, but the thing that really makes this place special is the backdrop. We had lunch out on the decking, on a hot summer's day, with the waves rolling in behind us - really lovely experience.

We stopped today on our way back from the beach and sat out and had the delicious chocolate ice cream and home made scones. The views are wonderful and the food is fab. Lovely friendly staff - what more could you ask for ? Looking forward to our next visit to the Bay Café already.

We have been here on many occasions for a sandwich during the day and thought we would try the evening meals. We were not disappointed. The food is up there with the best restaurants in the area but for half the price!

Had a meal here on our last night, I chose the sea bass cooked on the bone just wonderful. Although it is a cafe the menu is very good and seems to be very popular with locals. If you are visiting around this area do give this a try, might be a good idea to book before hand as it... More
