Food OK but not a very welcoming place. I have eaten here a few times mainly because it is convenient but it's hit and miss. We ordered drinks and the waiter got the order wrong - but he didn't apologise, just made out that we'd made a mistake. Staff members seem tense and uptight. It's a shame because the setting... We have been to the Bull in Beaumaris on several occasions but were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food we were served at the end of January 2015. We were a party of ten booked to eat at the 'Loft Restaurant'. Alarm bells started to ring when the waiter asked how I would like my steak cooked when... More

As we live in Beaumaris, we visit many of the restaurants in the town and have done for many years. Of all the eating places in town, Ye Olde Bull's Head is one of, if not the, best for the quality of the food, convivial atmosphere and good value. If you want a good menu with few frills, the Brasserie... More

Went to the Brasserie at the Bull twice whilst on a visit to the area .Enjoyed the evening more the first time as it was on a Thursday and the restaurant was quiet .We went back on a Saturday and had to wait 90 minutes for a table - the Brasserie does not take bookings and there were 6 of... More

This place looks very ordinary from the outside - but what an incredible find when you enter. We ate in the loft restaurant for a wedding reception and the food was absolutely remarkable, and the service was top drawer. This was one of the best dining experiences I have had and I would not hesitate to return.

Having heard lots of good things about this place we were looking forward to our meal at the Loft Restaurant. How disappointed we were. The cod starter was stone cold (wasn't stated on the menu), the portions were tiny and service was poor. Food had to be sent back because it was undercooked and our friend had to wait a... More

We had dinner at the loft restaurant. The dinner was delicious with a lot of nice surprise dishes between each course. Very tasty food.

Limited menu, which is overdue for a change at the brasserie!! Meatballs over cooked! Service was good!! Will wait for hopefully an improved menu before returning. Do feel this place is losing its touch slightly! Spoke to friends whilst there and they felt the same!!! There are so many places to eat these days everywhere needs to be on top... More
