Despite some....not too good reviews, we thoroughly enjoyed the food here, there isn't a massive plate full, but, what is on the plate is quality, well cooked and beautifully presented food. We found the staff attentive and smiley and would re visit. It is quite pricey, but you expect to pay a little more for quality.....also, clean and nicely decorated.

We thought we went to Cennin but we somehow ended up in Moo Baa Oinc - which I'm guessing is the more casual than Cennin and opened during the day. The Sunday roast was excellent and so was the dessert, and great value too - £12.95 for one course, £16.95 for two courses. The only minor downside was the haphazard... More

We came here Sunday last week for lunch and the food we had was frankly superb, the beef we had was frankly the best I've ever had in a restaurant and we have a few good ones! Our starters were also fantastically good, we were served by a lovely Lady called Fiona and she did a spledid job at looking... More

If your sick of cheap food at a breakfast like we are where you have to leave the items and fill up on toasts and beans Then visit here it's a banker for quality especially in the meats. Would always revisit when in the area and would recommend here for breakfast every time However there are better places to go... More

Perhaps they save their good meat for the restaurant. We have given this Butcher several chances thinking we have just had a one off of tough beef, but no. We had some Welsh Black steaks from them and it was so tough that I can only think that it was stewing steak he gave us. I had to make the... More

Had lunch, black beef sandwich huge and gorgeous, welsh rarebit also good. A couple of beers for hubby-stella, what else!! and a very nice glass of sauvignon for me, what more can one want. Much superior to usual run of the mill cafes.

Lovely food and friendly staff. Great variety on the menu with mostly locally sourced food. I had the fish and it was delicious. Husband had Welsh Rarebit and he loved it.

Food was beautiful well cooked and nicely served . A little pricey for Sunday lunch but well worth the extra for freshly cooked local produce
