After a long and busy morning in Beaumaris, we chose this place on a whim, after going through the menus on a few other establisments on Beaumaris High Street. The cafe was upstairs, over a nicely-stoked deli (where we bought a few treats after lunch). It was after the usual lunctime, but quite full. The food was of a non-specific... More

I wish we had eaten here first. We went to Simple Snacks and it was dreadful!! Poor choice and rude owner.

I thought it might be some dreadful emporium selling stuffed cuddly toys. Thankfully it's not. It's a butcher's shop where quality and concern for animal welfare take priority. There should be more like this in every high street of the UK

Waited an inordinate amount of time for a burnt pizza and a glass of stale lemonade. The experience was not helped by staff who obviously didn't want to be there. During our long wait we watched a number of couples and groups enter only to quickly leave when faced with an empty front desk and / or staff who seemed... More

We only stopped for a coffee and a cake on a wet afternoon - but I can say it was good proper coffee and the flapjack and millionaires shortbread were yummy Friend staff and excellent service

My partner and I recently spent a pleasant few days in Wales. Taking advantage of the lovely weather we spent as much time as possible out and about in the sunshine. On the afternoon of 17th July, after a busy week, we had a lovely time in Beaumaris. At 5.15 p.m. we really fancied a coffee so called in at... More

Despite some....not too good reviews, we thoroughly enjoyed the food here, there isn't a massive plate full, but, what is on the plate is quality, well cooked and beautifully presented food. We found the staff attentive and smiley and would re visit. It is quite pricey, but you expect to pay a little more for quality.....also, clean and nicely decorated.

We thought we went to Cennin but we somehow ended up in Moo Baa Oinc - which I'm guessing is the more casual than Cennin and opened during the day. The Sunday roast was excellent and so was the dessert, and great value too - £12.95 for one course, £16.95 for two courses. The only minor downside was the haphazard... More

We came here Sunday last week for lunch and the food we had was frankly superb, the beef we had was frankly the best I've ever had in a restaurant and we have a few good ones! Our starters were also fantastically good, we were served by a lovely Lady called Fiona and she did a spledid job at looking... More
