The quaintness and vintage china attracted us to try this tearoom, and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. On what was a rather grey and wet day we stepped into another world that was warm and welcoming and ordered the cream tea at £4.95. Popped in here for tea and scones, good refreshing cup of tea presented with a decent sized fruit scone with cream and jam. Good selection of cakes and snacks available to eat in or take out, nice place to stop for a welcome break.

No really. I don't even drink tea - but my wife does. This is a small tea room on the Main Street with 5 tables so when busy be prepared to table share or wait. I recommend the former - In my experience a great way to meet people young and old. We were lucky to get a table and... More

Stopped in here yesterday and had coffee and cake then went back for lunch. Great little tea room, lovely food and the Victoria Sandwich cake is to die for. I bought four if their knitted tea cosies. I will be back.
