Having visited twice last year, I returned this Saturday at 4pm and was amazed at the deterioration in every way. The staff were pleasant if over attentive (trying to take our plates before we had finished). We ordered two cream teas and they were delivered promptly. The teas were good but the bought-in scones were heated in a microwave and... More

Taken by a friend who had been before and said Welsh Cream tea was really good. It was indeed, hot scones with butter and cream only let down by the pots of ready made jam. How nice it would have been to have dishes of home made jam full of fruit. Tea in china cups and barabrith made this a... More

To say we were disappointed was an understatement. We regularly visit Anglesey, particularly Beaumaris, and my Mum has very much wanted to try this establishment for afternoon tea for quite a while, but there always seemed to be lengthy queues, with many customers waiting to get a table, so we've not be able to do so until this week. We... More

I gave up drinking the hard stuff a while back and I have therefore devoted myself on occasion to the art of the tea house. The scones (Best scone I have ever had as it melted in my mouth) and barabrith (Lovely big cherries)were fresh and gorgeous. My wife and mother had the tea and they seemed to slip into... More

The quaintness and vintage china attracted us to try this tearoom, and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. On what was a rather grey and wet day we stepped into another world that was warm and welcoming and ordered the cream tea at £4.95. What arrived was great tasting tea, a slice of barabrith and what has... More

Popped in here for tea and scones, good refreshing cup of tea presented with a decent sized fruit scone with cream and jam. Good selection of cakes and snacks available to eat in or take out, nice place to stop for a welcome break.

No really. I don't even drink tea - but my wife does. This is a small tea room on the Main Street with 5 tables so when busy be prepared to table share or wait. I recommend the former - In my experience a great way to meet people young and old. We were lucky to get a table and... More
