lovely lunch

Went for lunch after a walk on the coast path. We have been before and it was just as good as we remembered. Lots of filling in the sandwiches and a lovely fresh salad. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Dog friendly. Can't fault it, we'll be back!

We ate here on Easter Monday night and had no problem getting a table in the conservatory. The staff were polite and friendly but service was very very slow, no one asked us how our food was, no one offered us dessert and no one checked if we wanted more drinks. The muscles were sold out despite the restaurant being nearly... The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, the menu was varied and portions were generous to say the least. Most main courses varied in price between £10 - £16 which i again thought were very reasonable. The staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming.

My friends and I called in passing. The Hotel is on the main road, with a conservatory dining room overlooking the sea. The building is clean and well presented, the staff we met, all very friendly and helpful. We missed the starters and had main courses. The food was served promptly and was piping hot. Tasty and we'll presented all... More

we stopped at the Trecastell Hotel and Restaurant today for lunch. We ate in a sunroom overlooking the water. Everything was clean and tidy. The servers were prompt and friendly. My husband had a stuffed potato jacket with chicken and bacon and I had a turkey cranberry sandwich. The brown bread was dotted with seeds, yummy, along with a salad... More

The food here is all home cooked and great value but above all really tasty. We had the Sunday lunch today which was three courses for £11.95 including a carvery main course - very generous meat serving, with today's choice of lamb, beef, Turkey or gammon (or a bit of each). They even have prosecco in bottles for one, which... More

I told myself I would not eat here again after very poor previous experiences and hadn't for at least 18 months. Reading Trip adviser and on our friends recommendation we decided to try it again this Saturday gone and were pleasantly surprised when booking there was only one table left. Contrast this to the last time when we were the... More
