We have visited the Pen Cob on many occasions since it first opened in December 2012. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. It gets very busy at weekends but if you are patient and are prepared to wait for a table it is well worth it. Great price and choice for a pub meal.

Well where shall I start! I worked in Pwllheli nearly 20 years ago as a blue coat in Butlins. This was my first visit to the Town since, and I certainly chose the best watering hole in the area. I cant speak highly enough about this place. I arrived just after 10am and ordered myself a cold Carling whilst browsing... More

This is a very popular Wetherspoons pub/restaurant and a success story for Pwllheli. It always seems to be busy which says a lot in itself. I've visited a couple of times and not been disappointed. The menu has enough choice to satisfy most people and the food quality is reasonable. I've found the service to be good even in busy... More

We called into this Wetherspoons for breakfast on our way home from Hard Rock Hell Festival down the road. It's a beautiful building which has been sympathetically refurbished. I had the porridge as usual and I do find that the portion size differs wherever we go. Our local Wetherspoons offers a larger portion that I have found anywhere else. It... More

One person was left waiting and she was the 1st to order. After a few minutes she went to find out the hold up, her food arrived and we called her back,... More
