Perhaps due to the fact that we were there at the tail end of a tourist season with amazing weather extending the season, we did not have a long line to wait in. After visiting the castle 50 meters away, two lovely ladies suggested, after I asked, that we enjoy this shop. Being that we had some fish and chips... More

All cooked fresh and tasting like fish & chips should. It's not every day you come across a chip shop where they fillet fish on the premises. They do have a seating area as well but fish & chips always taste better eaten from the paper!

Well worth the trip to Criccieth the fish was cooked to perfection - white as snow and light crispy batter. The queue was out of the door so we ate in the diner at the back. The best fish, chips and peas.

We have had fish and chips from here before, hence our return visit. Best fish and chips you'll ever have. Cooked to order, so hot and fresh. Lovely flakey fish in mouth watering batter. This chippy is well worth travelling to. However is closed on a Wednesday, so be warned. We took ours out, didn't look like the restaurant part... More

Waiting in line for half an hour is the norm here but its well worth the wait for freshly fried fish in perfect batter. These guys do a great job. Café is small and basic but at the end of the day its a chip shop and without doubt, the best one I know.

Gorgeous fish and chip supper, heaps of salt and vinegar, comfy bench overlooking the bay. Says it all. Best paper bag supper I've had for years!

Decide to visit Criccieth for the first time ever after an afternoon on Black Rock Sands. I could see several cars parked up and their occupants eating fish 'n chips. That decided it for me. Chippy is situated on a hill opposite Cadwallader's ice cream shop and the castle. There were a few people being served which was a good... More
