Good food and pleasant setting

We both had really nice meals in a pleasant setting, although got to say on a personal note some of the lighting could be better, light in the fridge where the diners are is very off putting as it's such a bright fluorescent. The toilets could be a little hard to get to if you aren't very good... read more

Having walked around the village on arrival this small restaurant caught our eye. The menu displayed outside in a wall cabinet tickled our fancy. We had been in the Lion for a few drinks till the rain stopped and made our way over on opening hour 6pm. We were met by the lovely Jake who gave us a nice wee... More

Really nice quaint restaurant with great food (sizable portions) great service and a nice selection of different dishes. I had goats cheese, then ribs and then profiteroles and everything was amazing. The waiter was awesome; really friendly and efficient. Can't fault it at all, one of the best meals I have had in ages.

We went here with a friend having failed to get a table at 3 other restaurants in Criccieth as they were fully booked. I suppose that should have told us something and the fact that we had a wide choice of tables as there was only one other table occupied! Service was friendly and efficient. The menu showed a fairly... More

This place was lovely, service was friendly, and excellent food. It was pretty busy when we went but we never felt hassled.

There was a good selection of dishes available, and the service was excellent. A wine list was available detailing the cost of bottles of wine, but not the cost of a glass of wine. I ordered a small glass of dry white wine, and when the bill arrived I was horrified to find that the charge for a small glass... More

Just wanted to share the delightful find of Tiffins in Criccieth. We have just holidayed in Llyn Peninsula and ended our holiday with a superb meal. We can thoroughly recommend Tiffins for its family friendly atmosphere, great service and simply delicious food. Do try the Sea Bass / Spinach and Mushroom Lasagne / Welsh Lamb Shank, you will not be... More

Ate here before, had special beef curry & steak and it was very good. Returned and had lamb shank, distinctly average if that. Staff are nice, not sure we would rush back Meal was comparable to cheap pub

It was a Saturday night when we were recommended Tiffins! We walked in on a busy night but a young male waiter seated us to our table and the service was excellent! He took our order straight away and was quick with our drinks. The atmosphere had music playing in the back but wasn't too loud just perfect! The food... More

We were recommended but found it was run very amateurish, the head of house seemed to be trying far too hard, the young waitress informed us after we had ordered that there were certain food items that weren't available so had to do a re-think for our meal. It may have been well cooked when it arrived but small portions... More
