We went there tonight, food was ok apart from the lamb in every dish being very tough! Shame about the decor etc could be much better

I visited the "balti house" or "east meets west" (according to trip advisor) and the food was lovely. I had the King prawn korma with mushroom rice, although the korma was very runny the taste was perfect. I then ordered take away the next time as the service was an absolute disgrace, the staff even gave me a funny look... More

We got into Abersoch about 18:15 and went into a number of Pubs and Restaurants looking for a meal - they were all fully booked or there was a long wait (own fault should have booked!) We were going to drive somewhere else, but saw there was space in this restaurant. I guess that should;d have told us something!. I... More

We had a pretty good takeaway. The quality was pretty good although the chicken madras was very runny and just tasted like a generic curry sauce. Chicken korma and chicken tikka masala were good. Not the best Indian takeaway but hit the spot.

Been hear many times over the years, service can be very up and down, caused mainly by unbridled takeaway orders detracting the kitchen and staff from looking after diners. Went here this week with two elderly teenagers and elderly granparents. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food which as a weekly brick laner ( as my waistline testifi) was really good particularly... I had read the reviews about coming here and was not keen, but hubby wanted a curry and we could not get a table anywhere else, so I went with an open mind. The decor is basic but clean and comfy. The poppadoms were really nice, good dips. I order chicken tikka karahi, and hubby got a chicken tikka vindaloo.... More

Our family met in Abersoch for a weekend. We had holidayed in the area for many years whilst the children were in school with many happy memories. As adults we thought a Balti meal would be a nice way to spend a Saturday night. How wrong we were!! The restaurant reminds me of an old style work canteen - laminated... More

Despite having read all the recent bad reviews of East Meets West my friends and I decided to eat here. I have previously dined here in the past / had takeaways and never had any problems. Admittedly we did eat around 6pm so the place was quiet, however the food was great, as was the service. We had a mixture... More

Very basic food, only eat here because some random stranger said it was good... How wrong was he! Avoid unless you are desperate!

This won't be the best indian food you've eaten, but fine for a holiday take-away when you don't want to cook. They don't bring in extra staff at peak times, so expect a long wait in peak holiday season (our takeaway took 1hr15 after they estimated 1hr). Order early and head across the road to St. Tudwals Inn for a... More
