After being very rudely being turned away from St.Tudwals for being 2 mins after the food had stopped serving we were left without anywhere to eat, we managed to get to 5 degrees at about 9.45pm and unfortunately they had closed the kitchen, however after telling the Manager/Owner what had happened he went straight into the kitchen and said he... Went here last night for a meal with family and friends . Very relaxed atmosphere and the staff were lovely . We all thought that the menu was varied but expensive . The starters were really good (I had prawns ) , the main was very tasty but not very hot . Pudding was the highlight of the meal .... More

The restaurant does not look too much externally, but the views and the quality of the food make this well worth a visit. We ate here twice during our recent week in Abersoch, and despite some staffing issues on the 2nd visit, we were kept well informed of the situation, and as a result were more than happy to wait.... Straight from the beach, late afternoon/early evening, a cold magners and tasty fish cakes to start, followed by a fantastic chili burger, more magners and the sand is well and truly washed away! A friendly buzz and relaxed atmosphere. Sit back and cast a dreamy view across Abersoch bay, a must for any visit to the welsh riveria

Very quiet when we visited, fantastic view out on the terrace overlooking abersoch and the bay, food is good quality, would recommend the burgers. I would recommend this restaurant to friends. Service was a bit slow but I think that was because they didn't want to hover over us, don't let that put you off as you can sit back... More

Waited for ages for our food. (not the only ones to also) but in fairness they were very apologetic and explained situation. Food was fine, but would check again before going with hungry kids!

Eaten here a few times over last season & this - a sign that it is good value. The food is excellent and local. Occasionally a wait for a table & service, but the view makes it worthwhile. Pleasant staff

We always return to 5 degrees West as you rarely need to book, the chef is very accommodating and the food is always lovely. We do miss the T-bone steaks but this is the most friendly restaurant in Abersoch - Laid back atmosphere with a large outside deck having fab views over the countryside & the bay or the inner...
