Waited for ages for our food. (not the only ones to also) but in fairness they were very apologetic and explained situation. Food was fine, but would check again before going with hungry kids!

Eaten here a few times over last season & this - a sign that it is good value. The food is excellent and local. Occasionally a wait for a table & service, but the view makes it worthwhile. Pleasant staff

We always return to 5 degrees West as you rarely need to book, the chef is very accommodating and the food is always lovely. We do miss the T-bone steaks but this is the most friendly restaurant in Abersoch - Laid back atmosphere with a large outside deck having fab views over the countryside & the bay or the inner... Food was great. Big portions. Long wait for table to be ready, 1hr+ even though we booked. Lots of wasted empty space, more tables?? Some family's eating off their knees as no dining tables available

We visited here on recommendation from friends who had eaten here in August. I can't say that the recommendation was poor, however we didn't seem to have as great a time as our friends. The food was tasty, but not outstanding. Portions are generous and acceptably presented, however, it is more pub grub than restaurant quality. What did disappoint was... More

Firstly, this is a family type restaurant and if you are looking for a quiet meal then this may not be for you. However, if you have children, this comes highly recommended. The menu has lots of variety, the service is friendly and helpful and the food is good and well presented. There is an indoor children's play area which was... More

Visited on a Saturday evening as 2 families consisting of 4 adults and 4 children and we had a lovely couple of hours. You can't book so we went about 6pm to ensure a table as it get busy about 7pm. We had a drink outside before the meal as the view was amazing and the kids loved the play... More

I often stop here after a day on the beach. The views are far reaching and the staff are friendly. Free Wifi is also available. If you want to dine the food is plentiful and the menu varied. Would recommend this as a place to visit.

I recently spent a weekend in Abersoch with my family (Grandparents plus kids aged 8 and 4) and this restaurant was such a hidden gem! I'd advise getting there at 5-6pm though as it gets incredibly busy later on and I can understand why! The menu was great with a separate children's menu and the food was fresh and lovely... More
