stunning location, shame about the food

This could be an amazing restaurant overlooking Abersoch bay BUT the food is mediocre and microwaved at best. The children's play area is also lack lustre and in much need of maintenance and repair work. Ultimately, someone needs to put some love back into this business as it could be so much... read more

This could be an amazing restaurant overlooking Abersoch bay BUT the food is mediocre and microwaved at best. The children's play area is also lack lustre and in much need of maintenance and repair work. Ultimately, someone needs to put some love back into this business as it could be so much better than it is. Won't be returning unless... More

My husband son & I visited here in July on a recommendation!! I wouldn't say our welcome was brilliant but we thought oh well give it a try. My husband had belly pork which came in a round dish with veg & mash swimming in what looked and tasted like ready made gravy!! I had fresh sea caught scampi! And... More

After being very rudely being turned away from St.Tudwals for being 2 mins after the food had stopped serving we were left without anywhere to eat, we managed to get to 5 degrees at about 9.45pm and unfortunately they had closed the kitchen, however after telling the Manager/Owner what had happened he went straight into the kitchen and said he... Went here last night for a meal with family and friends . Very relaxed atmosphere and the staff were lovely . We all thought that the menu was varied but expensive . The starters were really good (I had prawns ) , the main was very tasty but not very hot . Pudding was the highlight of the meal .... More

The restaurant does not look too much externally, but the views and the quality of the food make this well worth a visit. We ate here twice during our recent week in Abersoch, and despite some staffing issues on the 2nd visit, we were kept well informed of the situation, and as a result were more than happy to wait.... Straight from the beach, late afternoon/early evening, a cold magners and tasty fish cakes to start, followed by a fantastic chili burger, more magners and the sand is well and truly washed away! A friendly buzz and relaxed atmosphere. Sit back and cast a dreamy view across Abersoch bay, a must for any visit to the welsh riveria

Very quiet when we visited, fantastic view out on the terrace overlooking abersoch and the bay, food is good quality, would recommend the burgers. I would recommend this restaurant to friends. Service was a bit slow but I think that was because they didn't want to hover over us, don't let that put you off as you can sit back... More

Waited for ages for our food. (not the only ones to also) but in fairness they were very apologetic and explained situation. Food was fine, but would check again before going with hungry kids!
