The Coconut Kitchen, located in the village of Abersoch in Wales, is renowned for its fresh, aromatic Thai cuisine. The dining room at The Coconut Kitchen - decorated with Oriental lamps and dark wooden furniture overlooks the harbour and has a warm, intimate vibe perfect for cosy dining, and the restaurant is a popular place for dates, nights out with friends and dinner parties. We love the innovative menu, and popular dishes include the char-grilled coriander sirloin steak with a garlic and chilli sauce served with stir-fried greens and sweet potato crisps; the King Prawn Panang Curry cooked in a creamy red curry sauce with lime leaves and Thai sweet basil; and the delicious lemongrass and ginger crme brulee.

Great little restaurant

Always great. Fantastic food. Only down fall is not being able to book in regularly, they're always fully booked, but then they do serve a great takeaway which is always available. If you can get in, book it without hesitation.

Authentic Thai food served up beautifully by staff who are eager to please. They had a good selection of wines which were reasonably prices. Would recommend and certainly go back.

Another year with standards maintained. Same team which says a lot - service if anything better. Consistently fine Thai food which is way better than most and compares to some of London's best. Relaxed friendly atmosphere makes for a great night.

Lucky enough to have another short break in Abersoch and once again went to Coconut Kitchen. We were a bit early but made to feel very welcome and enjoyed some lovely sauvignon blanc before our meal. Excellent food, wine and atmosphere as usual. Roll on next year!

Great food but nowhere hot enough ! We enjoyed a family meal after reserving a table for an early sitting. Three starters, four mains, two puddings, a bottle of wine and two soft drinks. Very nice but not cheap £116.00.

Although we enjoyed our meal at the Coconut Kitchen it wasn't one of the best that we had on our 2 week walk of the Wales Coast Path. Our overall feeling was that it was expensive for what it was though we realise Abersoch prices are higher than elsewhere in the area. The experience was OK but not outstanding and... More

This was my third visit to Coconut Kitchen and it was again very good. Always pre-book as it gets very busy at weekends. To start I had the spicy duck salad which was lovely. Great combination of spices helped create a fresh and very delicious dish. I like my food very spicy so the chef even threw in a load... More

This is a very popular little restaurant. There's a good choice of Thai style dishes. Ribs starter and fish cakes are both to be recommended. Mains too were good the confit duck leg with noodles in broth with veg was very good.
