Lovely meal, staff unknowledgeable

The staff are so welcoming and the food is amazing for the price! I couldn't fault anything. I will say though that the bar staff didn't know how much things were and had to wait for other staff (managers) to come before they could add up your bill for a drink which was quite annoying when your... read more

It's safe to say that I'm a regular at the Hot Wok and every time I visit I love it even more!! Staff are really friendly and couldn't do enough for the customer! Food is out of this world!!! Absolutely delicious, not like your traditional Chinese food! If ever you're within 20 miles of Mold and fancy a Chinese, The... More

I used to be a fan the of the 'Hot Wok' but over the years the quality of the food has gone down. All the food was over cooked bar the rice. The food used to look fresh and crispy but now old and limp.

The Hot Wok used to be excellent quality but unfortunately this is no longer the case. It's now nothing more than an expensive Chinese takeaway. Although the dishes are tasty and choice varied, the quality of the meat is awful. What used to be filet steak is now some sort of over-cooked cheap cut of beef and I have no... More

We eat here regularly and have done so for at least the last 6 years. Over this time we have introduced a number of friends to the restaurant who have also been impressed. Well worth a visit.

Me and my Fiance only stumbled upon Hot Wok when we fancied a Chinese on our way home from a weekend in Manchester. Luckily, we managed to get a table for 2 without booking, but it was the last one and it was packed. I'd recommend booking in future. We were seated and our drinks order was taken promptly followed... More

We had a wonderful time here last Saturday. Four of us were returning diners, but we invited two new dining friends who couldn't get over the menu choices. As usual service was excellentand the food delicious. Will always keep this place at the top of our list for outstanding food .

I have been here a couple of times. The menu is good as it is not your standard eastern selection. There is a wide variety to choose from and it doesn't disappoint in flavour. We have found it difficult to find good oriental restaurant in North Wales but this one is a little gem. The only downside is that although... More

Fantastic food, good service and surroundings. We have not visited this restaurent for a while although we have had take aways. The food well served and in good time, we were not rushed or left waiting around, the staff were very pleasant and attentive. I would advise booking a table for Friday/ Saturday as it does get vety busy
