Evening meal

Both my wife and I had the lemon Sole. It was cooked to perfection and washed down with a very good bottle of Pinot Grigio.

As this is right on the harbour we thought it might be too touristy/ slow service/ basic but we were tired & thirsty so... we were delighted with the homemade burgers, hotdog sausage ( a real butchers one) & onions, superfood salad with cashews & toasted walnuts- scrumptious! Prompt and friendly service, a good range of ciders , good coffee... More

Dropped in late one afternoon for a drink and stayed for dinner. We sat outside, in the sun with the dog. The picnic tables are brightly painted and added to the holiday spirit. As its a fish restaurant (although they serve lots of other dishes) we opted for the mussels and the crab and chilli risotto. Both were nicely cooked... More

We had bread and olive oil as a starter and olives, so no cooking involved. Good quality oil and the bread was nice. My Salmon and Chips was outstanding. Very creamy and soft. The haloumi scewers my partner tells me are good as well. The wine and service is good, but service is a bit slow. Over all a great... More

Pre booked so no excuses. One hour is way too long to wait for tarted up fast food when you have two hungry children with you. Keeping them in order made the adults irritable so all in all an experience not to be repeated. My seat gave me a view into the serving area of the kitchen where, on several... More

This was my first visit. I don't like fish, therefore I was a bit nervous. However, there was plenty of choice on the menu. I could have chosen several things from BBQ Pulled Porks to Chicken and Steaks. What I liked was, we were allowed to pick and choose and mix between the starters and the main meal and sides,... Called in here for a drink and what a welcome. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the young staff. We were given a table for two. The ambience was so lovely. We had a couple of cocktails. The barman even got his recipè book out to make a vodka Martini which he achieved and was delicious, shaken not... More

I had a few ice cream cones over our visit to the area. Wonderful ice cream. We did eat there but nothing notable to mention

The food and service is good. Menu I found misleading as when you order a steak thats all you get so had to order fries and mushrooms at £2.50 each, I would expect not to have to pay for things individually. It does say on menu all above served with coleslaw ans chips, it needs to be made clear what... More
