Lovely fish and chips at lunchtime with prompt and polite service. Our friends took us here for lunch on a Monday. They had been before and enjoyed their meals. We were not disappointed. The fish and chips and drinks that we ordered were served quickly by lovely polite staff. The fish and chips were some of the best that we... More

Been coming here on and off for the last 20 years, we always make a beeline for this place if we're in the area. Today we had a sit down meal rather than the usual takeaway, only waited a few seconds for service staff to take our order. It must have been literally a few minutes when they returned with... More

The best fish and chips I've had for a long time, huge portion of chips and a lovely light batter on a huge fillet of fish! The view out over the harbour was lovely from the outside seating and we were even given two free sausages for the dogs we had in tow, thanks, we will definitely be back !!!

We visited when the cafe wasn't that busy. We had to wait over half an hour for our pie and chips and when they came we were really disappointed. The home made beef pie had no flavour and both lots of chips had been around far too long and must has been reheated as they were hard or chewy and... More

This is by far and above the best take away fish and chips you'll ever have! I eat here every time I'm home visiting family. Absolutely awesome. Crispy batter, white fish, cooked to perfection. Both chips and fish really tasty. It doesn't get better than this!

Arrived after 6pm and had a fish supper dining inside over looking the harbour very pleasant. The New Celtic has a sign saying possibly the best fish and chips ever, i cannot disagree the batter thin and crispy the cod fresh, chips piping hot all cooked in the chip shop at the front of the restaurant. Service good and friendly.

Fidh and Chips cooked to perfection served in an efficient restaurant by friendly staff. Excellent value for money too. Highly recommended. I went there two nights running - had wild boar sausages on the first visit.

Staff good, chips nice... Everything else abysmal The worst pizza ever! Horrible asda basics type base with lashings of dolmio type gloop and cheese.. None of us could stomach it so ordered an additional meal. Rissole was nasty but chips were good Chicken pie was just a chip shop pie (we were eating in a restaurant and I expected a... More
