Fantastic evening meal for 2, lovely experience and food very much appreciated after a long walk! We were cold, tired and hungry after a long (and beautiful) walk round the waterfalls. Hadn't eaten in here before but the signs outside looked very inviting so went in. Warm welcome, lovely drinks and a cosy and friendly atmosphere. We were both very... More

I had arranged to meet some friends for a quick drink and chat at this Inn. I arrived early as it is centred in a beautiful part of Wales so I spent some time wandering around the locality. Returned to the Inn just as Kath was opening, I asked if she was serving and with a big smile was welcomed... More

Me and my husband went to enjoy a nice evening together. After finding out it was under new management. As its only a 5 minute drive away, it was perfect for us. We didn't have the chance to book, but when we got there it was quite quiet, which was absolutely great for us. Food was great, the staff were... More

Without doubt had the best ever Sunday lunch out today at the New Inn, Ystradfellte. Generous portions of veg and tender beef - it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be returning, we live locally and have no qualms in recommending the place.

Now under new management. Had Sunday Lunch a few hours ago, still full. Food was excellent, service first class. Staff so friendly, would recommend this to anyone. They even went to the trouble of bringing a bowl of water for the dog. Yes a dog friendly Pub/Restaurant. Visit the area often so the current owners will be seeing us quite... More

This has changed from a most unwelcoming pub to a venue to search out for a friendly hostess and excellent pub food. Walkers are always welcome both inside and in the small pub garden. The area has seven great waterfalls to visit and this is an ideal place to relax at the end of a great energetic sightseeing day.

As a member of a brass group Christmas time is always busy for us, and it has taken until now to get ourselves sorted to go for a meal together. Saturday we had our chance and knowing The New Inn has new management in post now thought we'd test them- we were not disappointed. In all there were 10 of... More

This is a good pub to eat and drink if you have just walked the waterfalls nearby. A good base for walkers and family friendly. The food has good portions and the staff are friendly. Made tourists feel welcome and the menu had a nice variety to choose from.
