The New Inn was recommended as a good place for home cooked food. A very warm welcome awaited us, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The Faggots and Peas were a treat. A return visit is a must, when the weather improves.

Visited here today after a flyer was left on our car at the waterfalls car park. The only option available was the Sunday roast dinner which is £13 for 2 courses. Although pricey our group of 4 (in our 20s) were really impressed with the food, we couldn't finish it all and it comes with the trimmings separately and they... More

Visited for lunch after a walk to the waterfalls. Very happy that it is dog friendly however that's about all I liked. The menu is on the wall in 3 different places. Not too much choice but it's a small pub in the middle of nowhere so that's fair enough. However I ordered a burger and specifically said I just... More

Dear sir I would like to take this opportunity to point out that while our waitressing girls are very friendly, kind, hardworking individuals everyone makes mistakes particularly on busy days. If you had brought the issue to our attention I can assure you it would have been dealt with swiftly so in future when you have a complaint try raising... More

Went to the New Inn for lunch after walking the Four Waterfalls trail. My wife and I both had the St David's Chicken which was excellent. Good choice of real ales, lager and cider on tap. Very welcoming staff. Great pub for walkers and families and is dog friendly

We have been to this lovely little country pub on several occasions for Sunday lunch and it's always been absolutely deliciously tasting homemade with the best tasting gravy and lovely fresh veg. However we recently visited and were disappointed , I'm not one to complain but had to be honest . The Sunday lunch is definitely not as good, the... More

We often walk in the area, so the New Inn is ideally situated for us. every time we go there, the service is excellent, the staff so friendly and helpful, the place looking cosy and welcoming, and the food wonderful (and we are really fussy, hardly ever eating out. Thank you!

We took friends out for a meal at the New Inn,Ystradfellte, on Saturday night. It was the best meal we have in ages. Our friends loved it too and the place, atmosphere etc., sitting around the open fire on comfy chairs. Whilst we were there, some very wet and cold people arrived with their dogs and had tea with cakes,... More

Lovely old pub lots of character, friendly staff excellent service. Just turned up without a reservation but they managed to fit us in lovely food, choice of three meats lots of veg and gravy. Could have done with more roast potatoes but still an excellent experience. Will definitely go again.

A very nice looking pub/restaurant, we decided to eat in the restaurant but you could have eaten in the pub part. Nice choices, i had the leek and potato soup, which was very good the lamb in minted gravy was also very good, it had a choice of desserts. The other three members of my party were equally pleased.
