Called in here today. 28th July. We were all 3 of us really muddy after walking the 4 falls.which was brilliant by the way.we were welcomed with open arms. I ordered the chiabatta steak sandwich. I am still full and that was 5 hrs ago. I expected, thin strips of steak. It was a full size steak. It wouldn't all... More

Visited this pub years ago after hiking the area and was just awful. Didn't intend to stop here again but noticed the New Management sign so thought "it can't be as bad as last time"! Thankfully Kath has done a wonderful job over the last year. Clean, warm and welcoming by very helpful staff. This was my fiancé's first visit... More

Based on earlier reviews, this pub is clearly under new management, as the staff are all very sweet and friendly. And the bitter is pretty good! The menu is attractive, but most of it was not available. After we ordered, we waited an incredibly long time for expensive but poorly cooked and poorly presented food. It was all clearly straight... Friendly chatty staff in beautiful surroundings, hearty pub food and a good selection of beer. If your hiking in the nearby waterfalls I recommend this place to pat yourself on the back with!

Nice staff, friendly village pub but the food didn't meet expectation. I paid 13.50 for a gammon steak which was a bit dry and chips which were blatantly processed and chucked in a fryer. Not worth the trip :-(

Having heard great things about the Sunday roast at this pub we called her at 5pm Wisun Bank Holiday Monday hoping the regular menu would be equally as good.Chose from the blackboard for our starters and main. Great expectations for what sounded delicious? After half an hour a waitress came and told us one of our starters was sold out... More

Visited here on a lunchtime recently, quite disappointed with th limited lunch menu. Lots of specials on boards but very overpriced. Example salmon £17.50, cod £17. Th place was also very cold despite it being quite warm outside. Very limited children's menu 3 or 4 items only Don't think we will return .

As vegetarians we have often sat in a pub eating just chips while everyone has a Sunday roast. How amazed were we when found that in the middle of Wales you can have a veggie Sunday roast! Amazing and just right after walking to the waterfalls.
