Need I say more? Got a dozen and all were delicious but the maple bacon are a must try. They also had delicious red velvet donuts when I went in. Only $8 for a dozen. Worth a stop!

The positive reviews are spot on! The donuts are terrific and we had the benefit of meeting the owner who sat down with us- he advised us on places to eat in Memphis and gave each of us a free donut, hot out of his kitchen (much appreciated although we had each already eaten 2 donuts already)! Great local place... More

Whenever friends from out of town come to visit, we make a trip to Gibsons. The donuts are really very good. Reminds me of going to donut shops when I was a kid. The inside is basic and old fashioned but clean. Just be aware that the workers really don't seem to want to be there.

The smell alone is worth the trip. I love doughnuts and these are some of the best I've ever had. Coffee was kind of terrible, my only complaint.

Don't go anywhere else, seriously. Gibson's has your classic donuts and the crazy flavors, too. The flavors change with the seasons and the sprinkle colors reflect holidays or how the Grizz & Tigers are doing in their seasons. You can go early in the morning or late at night, either way, just go and don't eat donuts from anywhere else.

We only had about 24 hours in Memphis but we decided to try out this doughnut shop. It's off the main road but easy to find. Nothing fancy, just a small area to sit in after you get your doughnuts. Plenty of selection and we tried something new, a baseball shaped doughnut that was either called or from New Orleans.... More

OK, this is just a donut shop with a few tables. Now there's an understatement! Folks come in, meet friends, have a donut, read a paper, or just relax. If you want some delicious donuts, this is the place. But don't come in too late in the day ... the demand is greater than the supply. And these really are... More

We arrived and were instantly drawn in with the amazing aroma that only fried dough can create. We ordered a maple bacon doughnut, an apple fritter, and one glazed. The fritter was by far our favorite: it was fresh and warm and gooey and magical. The maple bacon doughnut lacked a real crispy bacony flavor- it had plenty of bacon... More

We stopped because it was a must based on reviews. We ordered too many donuts because "eyes were bigger than our stomachs". All of the flavors were amazing. The bacon and red velvet are a must. The apple filled was also fabulous.

I must say I never expected to end up at a donut shop on a business get together, but this place was simply amazing and worth the trip! Simply delectable, melt in your mouth doughnuts. So worth the stop!
