Fresh fish served any way you like it-grilled, baked or fried. Big beer selection to choose from and the expansive space. Casual dining nestled in shopping center parking lot.

I love visiting Memphis so many food options! I ordered the catfish bites and black eyed peas. My Neice ordered the tacos. My catfish bites went so fast I didn't get a picture! The fish was lightly breaded which is a plus! The place is open and airy! The staff was nice and food comes out fast! I did get... More

Tried the one in Germantown earlier this year was not impressed, didn't feel the need to go back. A friend wanted to go to the one on Poplar, I was reluctant but she raved about so I decided to give it another try. Two totally different experiences....everybody's food looked so good I didn't know what to order...I went with the... More

Great value, Great food, and a Free Souvenir!! I had the Memphis Sandwich, "sliced pork with BBQ sauce and Coleslaw" and fries and drink for less than 8 bucks. You get to keep the plastic cup your drink come with and it's a pretty cool cup

My husband and I have been to the collierville location as well as the poplar location and loved them. So it should have been a no brainier going here. However we could not have been more wrong! Horrible service, and the food was nasty, over cooked and chewy shrimp, our sides were cold and hard. Sorry but don't waste your $... More

Whenever we visit Memphis, we have to stop at Soul Fish and eat at the counter. Everything tastes so good... catfish, mac and cheese, zucchini, greenbeans, hushpuppies, the desserts... everything. The waitstaff and management are friendly and helpful, and they don't even mind entertaining my chatty child who loves to start up a conversation with anyone within earshot. It's comfortable,... The noise level is way too high, but there is absolutely nothing to buffer the noise so would be expected; but it is very annoying. All the food I have had there is really good especially the catfish. It is light compared to most places. Also liked the fried green tomatoes which are cut in small pieces. Usually am not... More

Would go here for the atmosphere even if the catfish wasn't so great. Veggie plates are good also & selection changes daily. Mid-town IS Memphis & Cooper Young is the best of Midtown. Have also been to the Germantown Soul Fish, but the atmosphere just isn't the same.

Poplar Avenue branch - fried pickles piping hot from the deep fryer, and delicious! Also fried green tomato pieces, cut a bit small in my opinion. Catfish well cooked, ample portion. Hush puppies - YUM also piping hot! Staff friendly and attentive. NOISE LEVEL TOOOO HIGH! I was visiting from out of town and wanted to talk with friends, we... More
