The wait on a Friday at 1pm was about 15 minutes. Staff was friendly and attentive even as busy as they were. Good fried catfish, not great, just good. The fried okra was awesome. I'd go back if in the area again. Would rate 3.5 if that was an option.

Been here several times and have never been disappointed. Normally stick in the fish category - catfish and tacos are excellent - but on my latest visit tried the smoked chicken. Although it seemed more baked than smoked, which suited me fine, it was very moist and flavorful. Definitely would order it again. But must say, the mashed potatoes were... More

Was visiting family in Memphis on Valentine's Day. We decided to go early to avoid expected crowds. We were seated immediately. We tried a variety of entrees. I chose the catfish and hushpuppies with collared greens. The catfish was very good and the greens were superb. The Cajun cabbage was recommended by everyone. The Po'boys were well received along with... More

Little else to say but that the blackened fish tacos are the best in town. Simple ingredients but a delicious combination, this down-to-earth eatery can satisfy any hunger. If you get the fish as an entree you may want to share it with a buddy (I, of course, never would because I'm a greedy eater - but I paid for... More

I dined here for lunch with some co-workers. I'm not from Memphis but one of my co-workers lives nearby and highly recommended this restaurant. So glad we got to enjoy this experience. I had an absolutely fabulous shrimp Po-Boy with fried okra. My co-workers had Cuban Po-Boys with some different sides. We all agreed that the food was delicious, fresh,... More

Passing through town and visiting family told them we wanted Southern Style food. . This is where we went. Large portions and good food along with friendly service made for enjoyable dinner. it can get very busy most nights so you might want to go early or there will be a wait . Visited this past Sunday for lunch with a group of 10. The service was outstanding. Let me also say that this was one of the best selections of veggies I've ever seen and I live in the south. On my daughters recommendation we ordered a child's plate of catfish nuggets. The only disappointment were the nuggets were atop some old... More
