Eats and an old movie

This is a converted movie theater to a restaurant. A quiet place to go and eat downtown Memphis. You can catch the trolly (if it is running again) and get off at the Majestic and just walk around downtown Memphis. Seems like a very safe place to be and the food is good. Went here for lunch and enjoyed a salad that was outstanding. The ingredients were fresh and varied. The price was reasonable. Service good. I highly recommend it for lunch! Atmosphere was nice as well.

A converted theatre which is very atmospheric. Good selection of food and drink. Half rack of ribs was delicious and plenty for one. Leave room for their dessert shots.

During my 3 weeks stay in Memphis I visited the Majestic Grill restaurant around 10 times. They have the best dessert ever. Not to mention their amazing steaks. I will extremely recommend the Lemon cheesecake desert. I had more than 20 of them. They are very little but extremely big in taste. I was told by the waiter that Dulce... More

My only experience at Majestic Grill was a really good one. Great filet (get the straight-up filet with the compound butter) and an equally wonderful Claret suggested by our server. So good in fact, I'm ordering a case from the winery.

Great food here - the portions are big and the atmosphere is fine. The movies playing gives it a special feeling and the building is historic.

My wife and I along with my brother and his wife were looking for a place to go to eat dinner. This gentlemen over heard us trying to figure out where to go and suggested this restaurant. We are glad we came her. We had a good meal and we were not disappointed with what we ordered. i would recommend... More

On a recent visit to Memphis, we chose to eat here twice, as to be quite frank there wasn't a good choice & some of the restaurants were in decidedly seedy areas. Food was good with large portions, however felt it was overpriced. Service very attentive, in fact a bit 'over the top' on our 2nd visit. Would recommend.

The food here was quite good, and the service bordered on excellent. The restaurant is located downtown on Main Street near Beale, and the decor leads one to believe it is very upscale. Then there is the big screen at the end of the room, which constantly displays old movies, ranging from Elvis Presley to the Three Stooges (no sound,... More

We had a reservation and we were seated promptly but unfortunately we were seated upstairs in the "balcony" along the side. Absolutely no atmosphere, just white painted walls with no pictures or décor of any kind. Food is good but not great. If you choose to dine at the Majestic be sure you are seated downstairs in the main dining... More
