We arrived about 9 pm last night and had no trouble getting a table. I had an artichoke/spinach flatbread and grilled veggies..super yummy! My husband had a hamburger and he enjoyed it! Our son had a salad and fries. The atmosphere was lovely!! Service was good. It's right at the trolley stop...easy access! Go! Enjoy!

My wife and I were on a trip of a lifetime, taking in New Orleans, Tupelo, Memphis, Nashville and New York. Obviously we dined in several restaurants and cafés on out travels and The Majestic Grille was one of the best. Make sure you haven't eaten for several hours because you will want room for the massive portions. The starter,... More

My husband and I recently went to Memphis, TN and had a wonderful jazz brunch at the historic Majestic Grill! Eggs Benedict was extraordinary, and so was the Majestic mimosas!! Definitely worth a return visit! Great atmosphere and reasonable prices!

Everyone said we had to eat BBQ in Memphis. This is one of the places that was recommended. We shared a full rack of ribs and it was absolutely delicious falling right off the bone. The atmosphere was casual but nice and the servers were very friendly.

Housed inside an old theater with many of the original details combined with modern details. As this was a quick dinner before a game, my husband and I just got burgers. They were a perfect size, not too thick, not too thin, plenty juicy. The fries were crispy without being too greasy. My only complaint about this place is layout.... More

Our hotel staff had recommended the Majestic, and we were very pleased to have followed up on that recommendation. We arrived at noon on a Saturday, and waited just a few minutes to be seated. The Mimosa special (a bottle of champagne and a carafe of orange juice) was very reasonably priced and perfect to split for the 4 of... More

I took a large group (24 people) to the Majestic Grille for dinner on a recent Wednesday night. The restaurant was very flexible with such a large number, reserved a section of the restaurant at the back for us at no extra charge, and expected us as soon as we walked in the door. They only had one waiter to... More

Every time I am in Memphis I seem to end up in the Majestic for one meal. Something for every taste. And I like bars with a bit of time behind them and with character

My husband and I had reservations for lunch at the Majestic Grille. We were seated as soon as we arrived. Apparently, they actually reserve a table for you when you have a reservation rather than just give you 'priority setting' (as in, the next thing we have open) as many restaurants do these days. Nice. The building was built as... More

Greeting staff not friendly, pre fixe dinner menu not very savvy, owner/ chef spent the whole time schmoozing at the bar. Need I go on? A group of 6 of us went there before a theater production. Service was OK but slow. Pasta carbonara was a little bit of unauthentic Alfredo sauce with a little bit of Tyson grille chicken... More
