We had been to a late football game and when we got back to Memphis we were really hungry. It was midnight! We found this place open and fortunately no smoking. They stay open until 2:00 I believe. Being a Canadian restaurant we ordered the poutine. The curds were not good but the gravy and fries were. I had a... More

We stumbled upon this place a little off of Beale. With the funny name you would never think of it as a fine burger establishment . The decor made you feel like you were in Epcot Canada , very kitschy and lots of dead animals on the wall. The alcohol list had all fine Canadian whiskeys, liquors and beers -... More

We were staying downtown and after several days of sightseeing and hitting all the usual places on Beale Street we decided we would have dinner somewhere in walking distance of the hotel. We read the reviews for the Kooky Canuck and decided to give them a try. This isn't upscale dining but the food was first rate. I had a... More

We went with a large group and everything was great. The service was on point and none of the mm food would disappoint anyone. I mm had the poutine, and some appetizers with a wedge salad and would definitely return. I was impressed with all of the mm food available with nn curds, which I love.

Don't let the downtown location intimidate you. Although it is located in the heart of downtown memphis, parking is very accessible and literally right around the corner in a pay lot. The menu is unique and you can't go wrong with anything on it! Restaurant was very accommodating to our large table. The service was great as well. Food came... More

Good prices, unique menu, fresh salad, I recommend eating here while in Memphis. Many places only offer BBQ and in my experience the BBQ is dry and flavorless. Good service too. Seems popular with the younger crowd but don't let that deter you.

My wife and I spent the weekend in Memphis. We stayed in a little place right beside the Kooky Canuck. After spending Friday evening on Beale St. We ended the night here for a late night snack. By suggestion we tried their BBQ Eggrolls. This was an excellent dish but in my opinion not enough to share. It's about the... More

We heard about the giant burgers served at this restaurant and had to see what it was all about. We saw a few tables who ordered the super sized burgers and were impressed. It was quite the interesting sight. We enjoyed our food, but it took quite a while before it arrived at our table. There wasn't a wait at... More

We were a party of 6 and each one of us had the steak with maple butter. Our server Sonia was great and the wait was minimal. We all loved it and went back again the next night for dinner. Will be going again for a steak before we leave Memphis. The owner was there the second night we went... More

Must see and eat. From the beautiful birch wood dividers to the moose and deer heads on the wall, this restaurant is a must.. The wait staff are very friendly and pleasant. Had their fried green tomatoes with ramoulade was delicious. I then had their donairs which were reminiscent of home.. If I had one critic it would be, just... More
