Awesome!

The most eclectic menu I have ever seen. I had fried catfish and wife had trout. Both were excellent. Went back for seconds the next day and the food was just as delicious. The interior is like walking back in time. Nothing fancy. Just a clean, friendly place to eat. The memorabilia displayed on... read more

Cute place. Fries were good but for me the breading was a little too heavy. Oysters were definitely not my favorite. Across street from Peabody and a easy walk from Beale Street

We visited here based on all the reviews on here. We found lunch to be a bit expensive and definitely not worth the hype. The food was just okay. This is not a place we would visit again.

Had lunch here on 8/10/2015. Three of us went right in, ordered, and sat without a wait. I ordered the Oysters and Jumbo Shrimp platter with Fried Okra. Remember to order it "Snappy" which adds a little heat. Also, it came with two delicious hushpuppies. While you're waiting for your food to arrive, you must browse around at all the... More

We found this on Urban Spoon and loved it. My 6 yr old twin daughters enjoyed it. Close to the Peabody and Holiday Inn on Union. Would definitely eat here again!!

This is ridiculous looking place (but a lot of fun) with very well done food. This is not fine dining but the food is every bit as good. I will definitely go back there.

We greatly enjoyed our lunch at Flying Fish. The atmosphere was full of fun and the food was outstanding. We had catfish and it was very delicious and the price was very surprisingly reasonable. It was our favourite meal in Memphis.

A fun place. Decent seafood and well priced but don't get too excited. You get a lot of food. I am from Louisiana so I was not impressed with the gumbo but it was a different style so some would prefer it.

We're originally from the Texas Gulf Coast so, admittedly, we have pretty high standards for seafood. Our dinner here was good, but nothing spectacular. My husband received the wrong type of fried fish with his order (he wanted tilapia and got catfish), but he ate it anyway. The fried shrimp were good. I disliked the fried calamari-- too chewy and... Don't be fooled by the over the counter ordering or the rough interior, they serve fantastic fish here!! I had the grilled tilapia plate with veg, rice and beans. It was super delicious and the sizes was perfect! My partner had fried cat fish with fries and was satisfied. When back in Memphis I will be back for sure!!
