Alfreds on Beale

Typical bar type food. Food was ok. Deck seating is the best. Band downstairs so music could be heard from the deck.

When we walked in and the place was pretty much empty (maybe 10 people) I should have known it wasn't going to be good. There was a lot of trash laying around. The service was questionable at best. We walked in and it took a bit for anyone to come to our table. When she did finally come it took... More

Nice spot if you've got kids under 21. Life music played nightly and outdoor seating make this a prime spot for people watching and some decent food. My wife and I dined here with another couple, our a 15 year old and their 7 year old and there was something for everyone. Kids are allowed in the bar area with... More

right on beale street, the food was decent and the location was great. would have been better on a livelier night, no entertainment this night and not much of a crowd on a weeknight. i'm sure it would be better on a weekend or with a live act.

Good service even though they were busy. Great view. We set on top floor and watched the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Good quality of beers. We were with family before a wedding and it was nice to sit and relax before and get some good hot wings and dark beer. Great coffee milk beer.

Had a few beers here. Staff was friendly though. This place does not have any of the character some of the other places do on Beale Street.

There were entirely too many people in there tonight...dangerously crowded and smelled of vomit. We left after 30 minutes of threats from severly drunk patrons. As I was waiting for my husband to close out, I watched the bouncers give customers USED wristbands for money. Several refused and left but no one did anything! I pitty the owners...they are getting... More

We took a break from the cold and went in here to warm up and have a shot of Fireball. We each had a shot and didn't eat . Chatted with the bar tender for a few very friendly and great service. Check them out.

Wife and I got into town late and went to Beale St on a Saturday night. They had a band playing 70s and 80s stuff, fun to dance to and good atmosphere with a late 20's early 30's crowd, but not rowdy. It was loud, but duh, there's a band!! Great shrimp PoBoy for me and wife had a grilled... More

We were looking for some action on Beale Street. The food was OK (salmon had too much "char-broiled" taste). The beer was not cold ($4.50 for a beer in a plastic cup). The music was way too loud for carrying on a conversation. My ears hurt within 15 minutes.
