Oh my, this was amazing food. We decided to head here after Graceland and we were not disappointed. We ended up eating their buffet and it was Amazing. You can tell this is truly home cooked food. The sides were seasoned perfectly and the ribs, oh my the ribs were the best we have ever ate. We didn't eat anything... More

We were in Memphis for a soccer tournament and found the Leonard's had been visited by Triple D (Diners, Drive ins and Dives). We know that he goes to some great places so we had to check it out. Buffet was good and had everything on it for a Friday night. We walked right in and sat down with 9... More

Leonard's has some of the best BBQ in Memphis; best known for the Big Leonard sandwich, which I would suggest for first-timers. I haven't had a chance to sample the buffet yet, but judging by what I've eaten there, I'm sure it would be great. Whatever you do, get the baked bean pot. Baked beans + pulled pork = AWESOME!

Our family was driving through Memphis, but made a point to stop at Leonard's Pit BBQ. We weren't disappointed. The ribs and pork shoulder were very good. Be warned- the servings are large! I usually try to skip the bread basket... But not a Leonard's! Delicious buttery rolls.

This is the place where the neighbors eat. The staff is great! It would be close quarters for someone that has mobility issues. The food is good, not great, but good. I had the buffet. The variety was o.k. I liked that they had both dry and wet ribs on the buffet. The banana pudding was the best part of... More

Found it on a Food Network review and wanted to try real Memphis BBQ. We are from Kansas City, the capital of BBQ, and this one missed the mark. Sauce was 'scratchy' and ribs were small. GREAT BISCUITS!!

Being from Kansas City I'm not easily impressed with BBQ when I'm on the road however I have to confess their food is absolutely great; meat smoked to tender perfection and a variety of sauces to satisfy different tastes. We had ribs, pulled pork, sweet potato fries, cole slaw (one of the very best I've ever had) and excellent iced... More

We started off sharing the BBQ bologna sandwich and honey apples. The bologna is about a half inch thing topped with BBQ sauce and put onto a traditional hamburger bun. OMG. If you haven't had this try it. I'll never eat thin sliced bologna again. The honey apples taste like home made apple sauce but the sliced apples are still... More

We have never been to Leonard's for the buffet so we thought we'd try it. It was very good for mass serving but no where near as good as other well known Memphis places. They served all the usual stuff and it was good but, not enough to go back for another trip.
