Bland

Like the other Memphis locations, the pizza here is poor. The crust and sauce are bland. The only thing giving the supreme pizza any flavor was the sausage. And the barbecue chicken pizza just doesn't taste right. The Greek salad is good, if you like salads, but if you are wanting a good pizza I... read more

It's been a while since we have been to Memphis Pizza Café (and we eat out a LOT!). The last couple times we went, the service was awful! (Park Ave.) And we have had better pizza elsewhere. maybe caught them at a bad time ? BUT, this has happened more than once. No intentions of returning

I find it hard to believe this is the "best" pizza in Memphis. Apparently, I caught them on a bad day. I ordered a Cafe Supreme, the flavors just weren't there. It had very little cheese and sauce. The meat was dry and flavorless. I've never had a pizza more bland. I've eaten store bought frozen pizzas that had more... More

It's not just for pizza! If you like thin crust and "different" pizzas, you'll probably like Memphis Pizza. The crust is too thin and the sauce is a little too sweet for me, but everyone else in my family really likes it. We all have our preferences! Memphis Pizza also has very good sandwiches. My grandson swears their smoked turkey... More

The thin crust pie is delicious and cooked to perfection. If you like sausage and pepperoni get it with extra cheese. Take out is great and the pizza is good warmed up the next day.

Again, daughter and son-in-law took us here. First impression...DIVE! Awesome then, I'm ready for some pizza. The waitress had a very confident, assertive presence....not too cocky but cocky enough to enjoy and quip with her. We had a specialty pizza that I was not enthralled about ordering...I only forget it for that reason. I twas so awesome....but I wanted the... More

The Memphis Pizza Cafe is a staple of favorite pizza joints in Memphis. It is at the top of several of my friends’ favorite-pizza-places list! The fact that they have multiple locations around the Memphis area doesn’t hurt either. This was the third time I’d been to the Memphis Pizza Cafe and just like each time before… I was there... We love Memphis Pizza Cafe, but this last visit had terrible service. Our waitress could not remember what we asked for, rarely returned to our table for refills (and we don't drink a lot), and another waitress ending up ringing up our check. Poor service - customer service training may help.

I'm always trying out new pizza places looking for the "perfect" pizza. Well, it's not perfect but I found Memphis Pizza to be darn good. The pizza was a thin crust pizza that actually had a crispy, cracker-like crust, but like the limp thin crusts I find most places. The toppings were plentiful and flavorful. I found the Italian Sausage... More

Picked up some take out this last time for a dinner party with a group of coworkers. We love the alternative pizza and the garlic chicken!
