Great place to eat, good service, and good portions. I ordered, chicken wings, greens, yams, cornbread and a large sweet tea.It was under $12.

Returned for a second visit after two years and it did not disappoint. Great food, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. I'd love the recipe for the lemon meringue pie, I've never tasted one that good!

I've been to this restaurant with my office a couple of times and we are always greeted with a smile a seated immediately. Service is great even though there seems to be not enough staff. Food is excellent. The only complaint, cobbler was heated in microwave, so not so fresh, but other than that, absolutely grand. You can't come to... More

I love how this place is in a neighborhood and not surrounded by corporate businesses. The food most certainly not from a box or can. I had the fried chicken, mac n cheese and smothered cabbage. The cabbage was probably the best I ever had. The mac n cheese, though not baked (my preferred style) was not made from Kraft... More

You can skip this place. I had fried chicken. It was average. Mac and cheese tasted liked kraft mac and cheese with the powder pack. My wife had turkey and dressing and was disappointed also. Now the service was excellent, but food average.

Upon arriving in Memphis we stopped at this classic soul food restaurant as we Wisconsinites were desirous of some Memphis soul food. The walls in the restaurant are embellished with clippings and reviews and articles of visiting famous patrons. Miss Barbara is the friendly host who provided information to us about the history of the place. The menu consists of... More

If you're visiting STAX, (and why would you miss that?) you need to stop by for a bite at Four Way. It is just good southern food. And if you grew up on fried food and sides like I did, you will probably enjoy this place. Prices are reasonable and desserts were great.

This place was great. Some of the best macs-n-cheese I have ever had. The turnip greens were tasty and firm. Loved this place!

Well, it's a must stop when in Memphis. Everyone has been to this place (MLK, Don King, Jesse Jackson and more). The fried chicken is certainly some of the very best I've sampled. The owner Willie Earl Bates came over and gave us some very interesting history. A very nice guy. The wait staff is just great too. The greens... More

Really enjoyed my visit to the Four Way. I thought the cat fish was especially good and I also enjoyed the peach cobbler dessert. The staff was quick, friendly and on top of everything. Of course, the Four Way has the honor of being a place that Martin Luther King, JR. liked but it most certainly wouldn't have lasted an... More
