Passing through Memphis, and after reading all the reviews, stopped in about 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 8, 2014. Three employees, and the older lady at the desk stared at us, we smiled waiting to be seated, but no one ever seated us. Finally, the waiting and stare-down became uncomfortable, so we left. Very odd!

Great lunch stop after visit to the Stax Museum. We were made to feel very welcome and all enjoyed the food. Portion sizes are very generous, my liver was a huge piece and very reasonably priced. Martin Luther King Jnr dined there when campaigning in Memphis...

This restaurant is an easy drive from the Stax Records Museum. It has wonderful history with the music industry in the area. You are greeted cheerfully when you come in and the food is the most amazing Southern Soul Food! I highly recommend this restaurant to round off your visit to Memphis. Enjoy!!!

Add this place to your list of restaurants to visit in Memphis. The food was great and our server Malcolm and the other 2 waitresses did a great job trying to keep up with 45 people! Thanks to Rosylyn for organinizing everything. This was my second time visiting Four Way and you didn't disappoint.

Returned for a second visit after two years and it did not disappoint. Great food, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. I'd love the recipe for the lemon meringue pie, I've never tasted one that good!

I've been to this restaurant with my office a couple of times and we are always greeted with a smile a seated immediately. Service is great even though there seems to be not enough staff. Food is excellent. The only complaint, cobbler was heated in microwave, so not so fresh, but other than that, absolutely grand. You can't come to... More

I love how this place is in a neighborhood and not surrounded by corporate businesses. The food most certainly not from a box or can. I had the fried chicken, mac n cheese and smothered cabbage. The cabbage was probably the best I ever had. The mac n cheese, though not baked (my preferred style) was not made from Kraft... More

You can skip this place. I had fried chicken. It was average. Mac and cheese tasted liked kraft mac and cheese with the powder pack. My wife had turkey and dressing and was disappointed also. Now the service was excellent, but food average.

Upon arriving in Memphis we stopped at this classic soul food restaurant as we Wisconsinites were desirous of some Memphis soul food. The walls in the restaurant are embellished with clippings and reviews and articles of visiting famous patrons. Miss Barbara is the friendly host who provided information to us about the history of the place. The menu consists of... More
