Drove From Minnesota to Eat at Corky's

Driving to NOLA we planned to spend the night in Memphis and sped up to make sure we caught dinner at the Olive Branch Corky's. Wonderful dry rub ribs and excellent, friendly service. Well worth the visit!

I really found this to be very blah after the good reviews on yelp. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice. Beer's were only $3, which was nice. I ordered the puller pork and dry rubbed ribs which came with 2 sides. The pork was cold by the time I got it and a little dry.... More

Before my trip to Memphis, I asked a few BBQ aficionados of mine for their pick. Corky's was the winner hands down. Ribs were the order of the day, but do we try "wet" or "dry"?? Our waitress suggested we try both w/ a splits plate. As our experts had different opinions, this was definitely the way to go! We... More

Corky's BBQ, Memphis, TN - was a great find on our hunt for southern style BBQ. The food was great and the waitress was a doll! Very nostalgic and very friendly. Lots of high octane 'bustling' going on there. Busy but worth the wait.

I had the Big Daddy Comb plate and it was 100% delicious! The atmosphere is great, the music is classic, and our waitress Anita was fast, friendly, and easily handled a huge group (there were 14 of us, all with separate checks). A++, would pig out there again.

I've been to Corky's multiple times. Their food is amazing. Compared to all the other great BBQ in the city, Corky's is just as good as the rest. For me, it's hard to really choose a favorite (b/t Rendezvous, Central, Germantown Commissary, 3 Little Pigs, etc.) - I love them all. Corky's does have one of the best atmospheres of... More

Ribs were good, but I think Central was better. Its a sit down restaurant, with wait staff--so a bit different than other BBQ joints. I will say the homemade BBQ chips were fantastic.

If you are in Memphis, you go to Beale Street, Gus's Fried Chicken, Graceland, and Corky's. There is far better BBQ than Corky's, but go because of the history, the place itself, and the stories of who has been there. The catfish and pulled pork is pretty good, and the hush puppies are really good. Check it out, then ask... More

Always get the Ribs for two. Always great and more than you can eat. The onion stack is really good. Service is great and we will always make this stop when we are in Memphis. Parking is their only problem.

This was our first ever visit to Corky's, was based on TA ratings/reviews, and proximity to our hotel. We were there early on a Saturday evening. We were seated between the kitchen door and an unmarked supply room. It was noisy. My guest had the dry-rub ribs($17.99). I on the other hand, had the most popular/delicious pulled/chopped pork sandwich with... More
