French Country atmosphere with light blue, yellow, white décor. Eggs Benedict was awesome, homestyle hash browns were very tasty. Would have rated it 5 star had my husband not noticed a roach crawling on the table--thank goodness we had already finished our meal!

Excellent breakfast menu served all day. Biscuits are fresh and fluffy. Eggs, bacon and ham cooked to order. Artwork for purchase scatters the walls of this quaint little spot. Friendly staff made for a very pleasant end to our visit to Memphis. Cute, cute, cute.

Ordered scrambled eggs with a side of pancakes. Eggs and pancakes were hot and a very generous portion. The menu covers anything you may be hankering for. Bisuits and sausage, waffles and omelets. All are delicious and generous portions. The only thing that needs attention is the upholstery on the chairs and the bathrooms could stand an update. Otherwise the... More

What is better than a basket of fresh hot bread put on the table to get your meal started? The only thing better is when it's a half dozen fluffy, fresh from the oven biscuits and a bowl of great white gravy to go with them! The Blue Plate Cafe in downtown Memphis is bustling, busy and there's a good... More

Getting seated was kind of a challenge. Multiple people trying to pay and multiple tables getting sat made for some confusion at the front door. Waited quite a bit for service after we were seated but somebody stopped by and got our drinks. Food order was taken and food was delivered pretty quickly. Banana pancakes were fantastic with peanut butter... More

Breakfast until 2, awesome biscuits and warm syrup for my french toast, and quick service so we made it to the 1:20 movie - what could be better?

My family and I go for breakfast sometimes, it's really good and a great value! It's a very small place and tends to be very busy, and the staff isn't very friendly. That is why I am not going to say great, however I do like the pancakes and the sausages and cheese omelet very much.

Classic! Old fashioned southern, country menu with home made biscuits and corn bread. You can't miss the yellow building with blue awnings on Poplar. The parking lot is crowded, but don't get frustrated as there is more parking behind/on the side of the building. The decor is cottage-y with bright colors, chair rails and art and memorabilia adorning the walls.... More

I just ate breakfast here at the recommendation from the hotel front desk clerk. The building has history and seems to be pretty popular with the locals.i found the food good but slightly overpriced. Huge portions! I could not finish it all. Overall a nice place with southern charm!
