We were seated quickly as there was no wait. However, it was after 9am. Food was prepared and on our table promptly. Our server had water and coffee on the table within moments of when we sat down. The food was outstanding and the price was fair. The only thing I did not like was the men's room. The very... More

I really love biscuits and gravy so I had to try theirs! The gravy is runny (I like thick gravy) but it was very good!! Very good service as well.

This place is divine for the biscuits alone!! The staff is great and friendly. The food is wonderful and always piping hot. Just a great place to eat. It does tend to be crowded but as long as the biscuits are on the table you can hold out

We visited the cafe on a Sunday morning at 10:30am. There were people waiting and we were told it would be a 20 min wait. After 45 minutes we were told that we could continue to wait for a table for 4 or combine with another party and be seated at a table for 6. We declined to combine with... More

We went on a Saturday morning and they were packed and appeared to be slightly overwhelmed, but we were seated quickly and the food and service were great. They have an extensive menu and they kept the hot coffee coming. We had eggs, biscuits with gravy, hashbrowns, bacon and grits. I enjoyed everything except the grits. They were made with... More

This is a cheerful yummy place to have breakfast. The menus are "newspapers" - an enjoyable read while waiting on your food. Our server was friendly and service was great. My omlette was tasty and the coffee hit the spot. I'll be back when in Memphis.

Been to Memphis a lot over the last 5 years - and just found this place close to our hotel. Had breakfast there on a Sunday morning. It was GREAT! The eggs were cooked to perfection, the hash browns were awesome and my country ham was dead on! The biscuits and gravy were great and the sweet tea was perfect!... More

Great southern food, the biscuits we almost as good as Granny made. Thick sausage gravey with chunks of sausage.

I dined at the downtown location the last time I was in town, and now here at the orginal location! Wonderful breakfast - the breakfast sampler - eggs, grits and sausage gravy and biscuits!

Not the best ever but good and if you're craving them, and happen to be staying right nearby, worth doing. The place is incredibly clean and cute. I found it on Yelp- reviewers ripped the service a little- while it wasn't bad the waitstaff was as rough as they say...not super friendly, no smiles - strange in the south.
