What looks like just another tourist hamburger joint , was actually a great restaurant! We dug in for the broiled to perfection ( where can you commonly get broiled steak these days!) Tbone and fall off the bone Ribs enough for our family of five adults. With new potatoes, cole slaw, baked beans, toast and delicious marinated salad we were... More

Breading had good flavor. Great choice! Loved the coleslaw. Went about 5:30 during the week and got a table easy, but by the time I left almost every table sat.

On recommendation of our hotel staff, we made this the first food stop in Memphis and spent the rest of the trip comparing other restaurants to it! We got the sausage and cheese platter as an appetizer, which seems to be a Memphis thing, and were not disappointed. I never get ribs, but when in Memphis... And was happy I... More

brought my family down to Beale St for International Blues Challenge and decided on the 3lb Porterhouse to feed the 4 of us. Grilled perfectly(I like medium) and very juicy with lots of flavor. Had the new potatoes as our side and it comes with the house salad and dressing both very tasty. Never disappointed with this place and always... More

Yummy food and great service. Enjoyed the bands during festival and the servers were great. Plan to return and carry family back later this year.

Haven't been in for a couple of years, came over this time for Elvis 80th birthday..Its exactly the same, exactly! Which Is no bad thing.I even ordered the last thing I had on my last visit,a cowboy cut rib-eye,absolutely melt in the mouth.I'd learnt from last time not to touch side salad and bread they bring over while your steak cooks, that'd fill... We stopped by here at noon on a Tuesday because the Rendezvous didn't open until evening and we wanted to try Memphis ribs. I had a salad that was average and that was fine since it wasn't what we came to try. My husband's ribs were very tender and without a lot of fat but also without a lot of... More

We are three ladies and small eaters. We split a full rack of wet ribs. The plate came with fries, cole slaw, beans, and bread. This was the perfect amount of food for us (of course, we added beer)! The ribs were "wet", basted in a slightly sweet sauce. They fell off the bone they were so tender. We are... More

The Best ribs downtown. All of the fod downtown is sourced from a central place But once it arrives at the destination it takes on the local flavor. Blues city has great ribs ( better the Rondevous) and great steaks by the pound. Do noy buy a steak that does not come by the pound they are not good. Have... More

We hit this location late one night when I was held over for the weekend. I have eaten here twice and both times were good. There ribs were great and even their steak was good. I usually like to as the waiters what their favorites are and go with that.
