Great ribs!

Best ribs I ever tasted, just fell off the bone. A very busy cafe/bar but they get through the queue very quickly. Most definitely not fine dining but this is reflected in the price. Good value for money. One curious item, which arrived with all of our main courses, was toast! Didn't quite... read more

If you want Memphis style wet ribs, this is the place. You will not be disappointed. Convenient to downtown and other attractions.

Visited on a Sunday night, Enjoyed 2 bands, wonderful R & B, Ate BBQ ribs with cole slaw, Absolutely delicious. Great wait staff. Never waited for drinks or food! Get there early for a seat. Highly recommend.

When we were in Memphis, we stopped here as it was very crowded, and the only restaurant with a line. We were able to be seated fairly quickly. The service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was packed! The food was good, but not the greatest ribs I'd ever tasted. I was a bit disappointed that the menu was... More

All about this place means you cannot fault it. Everything looked good. Puddings excel-you only need one to share between two. Only problem is the portions are huge-be hungry before you go ! Go for it.

I don't normally like ribs, not a huge BBQ fan. If you're like me, the Ribs here are worth taking a chance on. Other wise a dive for ambience

The ribs we're so tender, they just fell off the bone!!! Two of my kids had the chicken tenders and my daughter said they were the best she has ever had. My vegetarian daughter had gumbo for the first time and literally cleaned the bowl with the thick slice of bread they give you. The prices were reasonable and we... More

We love Blues City Cafe -- let's count the reasons: 1. The food is great. The ribs are just how I love them, wet and sticky. The chili cheese fries are the bomb. The sides are all worth eating. And the apple dumpling... let's just say they undersell it on the menu... it is absolutely one of the best things... More

We walked up to the door to look at the menu having been told we should go here. As we stood there a group of guys walked by saying the ribs here out did the other restaurant that was suggested to us that they just visited. We went right in, ordered and out came the most tender ribs we've had... More

We went here after we left BB King's. I asked for a hotdog and the girl said "you want ribs'. So I laughed and said yes. She was right.
