Loved it!

Came here for dinner with 6 people. They gave us a table in the back bar (which was great because the band we saw were fantastic). I'm not a huge BBQ person, however everyone else at my table did get some kind of BBQ and they said for the rest of the trip that it was the best meal they... read more

Went to Blues City Cafe to enjoy their yummy food and entertainment. We were not disappointed. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Especially loved the stuffed mushrooms. Ribs exceptional. Keith behind the bar was friendly and welcoming. The Memphis Three provided excellent entertainment . Covering many bases. Great night.

The Memphis Soul Stew was amazing. The ribs were ver below par. I have eaten at 4 other Memphis rib joints and this is on the bottom. I go to over 10 rib fests over the summer and I know ribs. Since the Rendezvous was closed on sunday a security guard said this place had the best ribs. I corrected... More

The food was okay. We went on a Sunday afternoon and got stuck in the back area near the bar. The place is pretty run down and a they seated three guys next to my family that practically screamed the entire time and used all kinds of profanity. The staff never said a word to them. I finally had to... More

We had ribs and a barbecue salad. The ribs were tender and tasty. The salad was fresh, topped with pulled pork which was average. They do not have bottles of barbecue sauce on the table, but give you a small dish of it with your food. The atmosphere is cool, food is prepared behind a counter so you can watch... More

We got a recommendation from a waitress at the Peabody hotel to come to this BBQ place, it's one of her favorites. No disappointment here! It was about 6pm and a bit of a wait outside but then we went in and it's quite a place to see. Plastic cups and waiters and waitress running all over and you wouldn't... More

If so, they can keep it. This is a very run down, well used place, on Beale Street. Supposedly one of the best examples of Memphis barbeque. I had the "house special" meat plate, containing a small slab of ribs ( 6 ), beans, and steak fries. Ribs were VERY dry, covered with what could have been out of the... More

We asked the hotel staff for a good recommendation for BBQ and they said here. Great recommendation. Hubby had the rib plate. The ribs were falling off the bone. The server brought extra BBQ sauce. I am glad he did because I like mine a little wet. I had the ribs and catfish plate. The catfish was very good. The... More
