The food was good, as was the service. Had the chicken tenders and the breading was light and tasty. Would I go back? Probably.

I liked that we got a table quickly but servers weren't friendly and the food was just average...nothing spectacular.

Lunch at Blues City Cafe- we started off with the Sausage and cheese platter, both of us ordered half rack rib plates and shared the southern pecan pie ala mode. Love the nostalgia of this joint. It is right on the corner of Beale street and perfect for people watching. The sausage and cheese platter was huge and honestly enough... More

Slightly disappointed with BCC. We had heard the ribs were really good but unfortunately the ribs we had here were very average. They are served wet and that's a good thing because the meat couldn't stand on its own-it needed the sauce. It was tender, but had no smoke flavor. I had the pulled pork salad and while the pork... Went here at 10:00 on Saturday night. No wait but busy. Got served within in 2 minutes. Everything was tasty and hot. Ribs were very good as was the catfish. The atmosphere is all 60's diner, not fancy but festive. Kids can get in here on weekend nights because it is just outside of the beale street barricades checkpoint which... More

We ate here after seeing good reviews for the place. Everything was very tasty and we were very impressed. The meat was fantastic. I'm looking forward to our next visit. Five stars!

This restaurant was referred to us by a couple different people so we decided to give it a try. They also said that the locals go here as well. I found that the restaurant was extremely busy and noisy and the food was decent but I wouldn't say over-the-top awesome. It just seem to be a take on everything else... More

Awesome ribs, great atmoshpere. Fried catfish were good. They had a local beer on tap and after a few I have forgotten the name, but it was excellent. So just try them all when you're there. Won't leave hungry. Order the "best meal on Beale" and get a beer. Best way to dive right in.

Try the gumbo fries and fried fish! To die for!!! Great little cafe which is exactly what you'd expect ... Little dive-ish with great food!
