Memphis is known for our BBQ and when a place has national acclaim, I expect the food to reflect this. Went for a late lunch to go. Was greeted when arriving with a smile. The first item I requested was sold out for the day and opt for a half rack of ribs with sauce hot, bbq spaghetti and coleslaw.... More

Cozy Corner is a "good" local barbecue restaurant. I am not sure I would rate it as the "best" one in Memphis, and I would definitely not rate it as the "best" barbecue I have ever eaten. I can only compare it to the other barbecue restaurant where I ate in Tupelo, Mississippi on my recent trip to Florida. This... More

This was our first stop on a 12-stop Southern Food Tour. We decided to try Cozy Corner, because it had been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Drives. I found the prices to be surprisingly reasonable, as a smoked bologna or sausage plate with two sides was around $5. The quality of the food was good and the smokiness evident, but... More

Stopped here for dinner after a trip to Beale Street and ordered the spicy rack. Woo, they had a kick to them. I was in tears for my first few bites, but after that I ate some corn and got used to the burn. Went through about 20 napkins between the two of us. Like most good Memphis bbq joints,... More

We got here late and the neighborhood was a little scarey. Place was run down but it kind of added to the experience. I ordered the Cornish hen and it was extremely dry. Some parts were so tough it wasn't edible. my son and boyfriend ordered the ribs, these were amazing!!! Maybe the best I ever had. My daughter ordered... More

You can't beat this BBQ! 4 generations running this place and their passion and love for what they do is apparent. Try the Cornish Game Hen-delicious! My husband is a chef and he is still raving about it. Our waters were refilled by the pit master (grandson) who checked on the meal. We were talking to him about the food... More

This is a must go if you are in Memphis We got the sliced pork sandwich. Delicious The bbq spaghetti was so good. Also try the banana pudding and sweet potato pie. Amazing. All the food is made fresh daily. People on here say the neighborhood is sketchy. I can tell you it's not like that at all. The neighborhood... More

OK, I am a professed KC cue fan and totally biased. Disclaimer made. With that said this BBQ is quite good! Not perfect (some of the ribs were a bit tough and chewy) but dang good. I ordered the Cornish Hen but they were out. Settled for the hot BBQ chicken plate and it was fall off the bone, juicy... More

Stopped here while visiting Memphis for first time and wanted truly good BBQ. I had ribs which had excellent flavor and very tender. I got the mild sauce and it was delicious! Definitely dont pass it up based on the exterior!

Great wet ribs and sweet potato pie! Sides were just average. If it's the meat you're after and/or the dessert, go for it!
