I grew up in Memphis eating barbecue all my life. bozos in Mason Tennessee has always been my favorite. Then I ate at cozy corner. Best ribs ever and they serve sliced pork. The only other place in Memphis that used to serve sliced pork was lambs and they have been out of business for 30 years. You... read more

Food was five star. Service was five plus star! Not the prettiest place but, we were cool with that because the overall experience was so good. Our family tried several dishes and we were all very happy! Ribs and chicken were great mild or spicy. Bologna sandwich was a hit too. The cole slaw was very good as we're the... More

This is some of the best bbq ever. It may not always be on the menu but if you can get it, do the burnt ends. The building itself is not much to write home about but the food is simply Awesome.

We stopped in on a road trip, just passing through Memphis. We had just gone to a high-end fancy BBQ place in KC, and we were looking for something a bit more casual this time around. Cozy Corner is about as casual as you can get. The folks there are friendly, though signs warn you that they won't remake your... More

Went for lunch and almost did not go in, not real pretty outside. Got there about 11:30 and glad we got there early as at noon there was a very long line. I got rib tips with beans and my wife got bbq pork sandwich with slaw. Both were very good and the hot sauce was not to hot and... More

In 2005 we came to this place twice and found it closed both times. Today with internet on phones, etc. we knew it would be open. Not the greatest neighborhood, parking lot, building etc. but we braved it anyway. Stood in line to order and found the fairly spacious dining area off to the side. Our ribs and chicken were... We had been wanting to try Cozy Corner for several years. We kept putting it off because we weren't sure about the area it is located and we don't go near downtown Memphis very often. We finally made it. When you enter you are in a fairly small space where you order. Off to the side and not visible when... More

This local favorite is less than five minutes off I-40 and it's well worth a detour when you're in the area. Don't be bothered by the exterior - sure it looks like a hole-in-the-wall. But that's typical for great local eating joints everywhere, isn't it? Step right up to the counter and if you're real hungry, just go with the... More

If you are looking for a true Memphis BBQ experience, make sure you don't miss the Cozy Corner. The BBQ Sandwich is one of the best in town, and their Ribs might be my all time favorites. There are obviously tons of great Q in Memphis, but Cozy Corner is one of the best!
