This is the BEST barbecue place in Memphis – hands down! Three of us had the two-rib (hot), cole slaw and beans plates. The meat was falling off the bones marvelous. I sucked the bones clean, including the ends! The sauce was just right…not too sweet, and not too hot. Just enough heat to open my tastebuds. There was a... More

Don't come to The Cozy corner for it's lack of atmosphere. Located in the hood this BBQ shop is a diamond in the rough! The ribs are country style which means sliced slab, two ribs to a piece. The food is all incredibly fantastic but the service is slow. Carry a bottle of water and a cloth with you to clean... More

14 of us walked in and were served straight away, it's just a take away joint with friendly staff, good advice and a small dining room you can sit in and eat off your paper plates. The decor is old fashioned and it looks hideous from the street front but don't let that fool you the food it's brilliant food... More

Cozy Corner is located in a small nondescript building that doesn't exude much in the way of atmosphere. You step inside and order at the counter. Service is efficient and friendly. If you plan to eat in there is a small dining room available. I ordered a half rack of ribs and was pleased with how good they were. They... More

I read trip advisor reviews before going. Yes it is not in the best area. Yes, it is a "greasy spoon". YES, the food is GOOD! The character of the place is delightful. Reading all of the signs on the walls. The staff was very friendly. The Cornish hen and chicken wings were very good. Nothing bad to say here.... More

Memphis is known for our BBQ and when a place has national acclaim, I expect the food to reflect this. Went for a late lunch to go. Was greeted when arriving with a smile. The first item I requested was sold out for the day and opt for a half rack of ribs with sauce hot, bbq spaghetti and coleslaw.... More

Cozy Corner is a "good" local barbecue restaurant. I am not sure I would rate it as the "best" one in Memphis, and I would definitely not rate it as the "best" barbecue I have ever eaten. I can only compare it to the other barbecue restaurant where I ate in Tupelo, Mississippi on my recent trip to Florida. This... More

This was our first stop on a 12-stop Southern Food Tour. We decided to try Cozy Corner, because it had been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Drives. I found the prices to be surprisingly reasonable, as a smoked bologna or sausage plate with two sides was around $5. The quality of the food was good and the smokiness evident, but... More

Stopped here for dinner after a trip to Beale Street and ordered the spicy rack. Woo, they had a kick to them. I was in tears for my first few bites, but after that I ate some corn and got used to the burn. Went through about 20 napkins between the two of us. Like most good Memphis bbq joints,... More

We got here late and the neighborhood was a little scarey. Place was run down but it kind of added to the experience. I ordered the Cornish hen and it was extremely dry. Some parts were so tough it wasn't edible. my son and boyfriend ordered the ribs, these were amazing!!! Maybe the best I ever had. My daughter ordered... More
