Right up the street from the U. of Memphis, best breakfast spot in town

Wow! Was this a find! What an extensive menu with a ton of choices for all types of tastes. I had the mushroom and cheddar omelette with their home fries. If you want breakfast in Memphis, you really need to try Brother Junipers. This is an incredibly popular spot so plan to wait awhile to be seated, and don't expect it to be fancy. There is a coffee bar so enjoy while you wait. It's located in an old building with uneven floors and crowded tables. The portions are large... More

Needing to fuel up for Saturday errands, I stopped in Brother Juniper's for breakfast. Popular with locals, expect a wait when you go. A variety of egg dishes from scrambled with an assortment of extra ingredients to omelets and assorted breakfast meats and sides. This was my second visit in two months. While the menu can be a bit overwhelming... More

The wait time can be lengthy but the food is excellent. People rave over everything but I can't seem to order anything but biscuits and gravy. I love that.

Quaint older breakfast place that also sells pies to go. Great service, good food, and a bottomless cup of coffee. Park across the street. You may have to wait for a table. Memphis Tiger book store right next door.

Their tee's say Best Breakfast in Memphis...and this is certainly the best we've found so far. It surely seems like everything is made fresh, and while maybe not the healthiest...how can you consider cinnamon-roll pancakes healthy?... it surely is a great way to start the day. Actually, when we have gone (4 out of the last 5 Sundays!) there is... More

After seeing the reviews on trip advisor we decided to have breakfast here, and it was quite possibly the best decision we made in Memphis. The experience starts as soon as you walk in the restaurant. You are welcomed by a very nice host that will take you to your table were you are presented with the menu. This is... More

My husband and I went one Saturday when we couldn't get parking for some other diners. I am so glad we couldn't! When we got here there were a lot of people waiting but the great thing is there is a waiting area where you can get a coffee or tea, read a magazine or a paper and sort of... More

And they have the awards to prove it! Went there with my family and got there 10 minutes before opening on Saturday morning to find a line already formed outside. The opened at 8 on the dot and we 9 were seated right away. Service was excellent with a very interesting and varied menu. I ordered the #4 ham and... More

That's what the t-shirts say, and I can't disagree. Very good omelettes, biscuits. Loved the mismatched coffee mugs. No reservations, but if you download their app, you can put your name on the waiting list. Fills up fast. Expect a wait, but the service is friendly and fast once you're seated. NY Times recommended it, and so do I.
