This is a "must go" breakfast place in Memphis. The food is wonderful, the coffee warm, and the service is great! The biscuits are the "must have" on the menu and the fresh fruit jam pairs with them perfectly. On weekends there is a long wait, so go hungry and be patient. You'll be glad that you did.

Normally I don't eat breakfast, but when I have the desire, I always go to Brother Juniper's and I have never been disappointed. I have gotten hooked on the San Diegan. I think I have had most of the menu and all items are not just good but superior. The pancakes and waffles are excellent. Weekends are jam packed, so... More

Great service, but be advised that Saturdays and Sundays are slam packed so for a more romantic conversational meal visit during the week between Tuesday and Friday. They close at 1pm daily so be sure to arrive no later than noon.

Great Breakfast! We waited about 40 minutes and they offer coffee while you wait. The coffee was good. They use mis-matched cups which I thought was a unique touch. I ordered the Veggie Delight Omelet with a side of grits and biscuit. The husband got the #2 with Bacon, Home Fries (Potatoes) and biscuit. We also shared a pancake. The... More

Searched for breakfast restaurants in Memphis and found this one. After reading several reviews we decided to try it and glad we did. Waited about 40 minutes but well worth the wait. The bacon and cheese omelet was outstanding, the grits just melted in your mouth. My wife had the tofu scramble and was really surprised at how good it... More

Just had my second breakfast at Brother Junipers. It certainly didn't meet the hype. The biscuit was great...but only one kind of jelly available at a breakfast restaurant? I'm sorry...not a fan of grape jelly. Have strawberry on hand next time. Ah, that's right, there won't be a next time. The breakfast potatoes were apparently covered in garlic salt? They... More

A grand old Omelette, a biscuit and cheese grits, what better way to start the day? We arrived late so there was no wait for us and this awesome food provided a great foundation for a torirsty day out in the city... Lovely service on top. Really I can't fault it....

I Google'd "Best Breakfast in Memphis" & one of the choices was Brother Junipers. Hands down the best breakfast ever!! I had the Greek Omelet both visits & it was delicious! The biscuits melt in your mouth & the cinnamon rolls tasted like my Granny's!! I highly recommend, well worth the wait!

My husband remarked that this was great food & service in an experienced building as he ate at the restaurant in a prior life ( when it was Frenches College Inn & he was in college in the late 1960's & back again in the 1980's). We got omelets that were STUFFED full of goodies! The grits were melt in... More

Breakfast Beckons Brother Juniper gets great reviews and has won lots of awards for their breakfasts. I can see why. The French toast was delicious and the omelet was large and flavorful. All the breads and biscuits are home-made and really good. The grits were even pretty good. The country ham was even saltier and tougher than normal and I... More
