Wonderful for meat lovers! And great salad bar

We took my mother-in-law to Texas de Brazil in Memphis for lunch on Valentine's Day and were pleased overall. This restaurant is next to the Peabody Hotel in Memphis. We were seated quickly (with reservations, of course) and the salad buffet was great, as always, with smoked salmon, heart of... read more

Same as everywhere. With so many delicious regional specialties and ethnic foods in Memphis, I would not spend any time here. Memphis has amazing new restaurants that serve innovative local farm-to-market food. We have some of the best nouvelle cuisine and fusion food anywhere here in Memphis. Why bother with a chain?

For $100, 2 people can be served various rare or medium rare foods until they are satisfied. I like my meat well done, so I had to wait a lot. The salad bar was good but I've seen better. The pork was very salty and didn't appeal to me at all. It's a fancy place to try to impress a... More

This was a great place to eat! We were really hungry and being treated to a special spot in downtown Memphis. The buffet for the salad and appetizers was fabulous. But even more spectacular was the Lobster Bisque. I ate two bowls! This is the type of place that you sit down, get your buffet salad, etc then turn your... More

The food is excellent but the downside is all of the meat is exceptionally rare. You can tell the servers you want your meats more done but you won't have your's served at the same time as those dining with you who like it super-rare. The buffet of salads, soup, cheeses, cold meats and hor d'ourves type foods, is mouth-watering.... More

The selection of menu items on the salad bar alone is worth the trip and would fill up anyone who doesn't eat beef or pork. The salad bar meets all of your charcuterie/anti pasta desires. For those who do eat red meat, you can't beat the selection of "all you can eat" grilled meats. Beef is cooked to your preference... More

If you love meat, stay away from the salad bar and sit and enjoy the green light. It keeps coming until you can't Walk Recommend

We celebrated our anniversary and decided to eat at this restaurant, we have eaten here before and knew the food was excellent. This is an "all you can eat" meat served at your table and help yourself food bar, very nice restaurant. The cost for lunch is almost 1/2 the price of dinner and the only difference I can find... I'm an Aussie so I'm obsessed with lamb chops. And not the ones with the bone cut off. I come to Texas de Brazil seriously just for the lamb chops. The staff is amazing, they will go find the guy with the lamb so he can come over to my table. It's such a fun time here. The lobster bisque... More
