On The Border, in years past, was my favorite Mexican Restaurants. Went to this restaurant because it was close to appt & for old times sake. Was 12:15 pm & there was no hostess. My husband ordered lunch enchilada plate & he enjoyed. I order house salad & it was full of hard pieces of lettuce & also a lot... More

Really good food. If you like it spicy you'll love it. Spicy but not burning which is just the way I like it. Portions are huge; might want to consider splitting an entree if you don't have a big appetite. Good service.

Food was really good but it took forever to get more Tacos on the endless taco menu. They could have used more staff that day because of it being fathers day it took awhile to get our food.

We love the food but had to leave because mgt simply refused to seat us where we wanted to sit. Booths were available away from huge parties where we would be jammed in but they just looked at us with a blank stare when we asked for another table. When we said we'd have to leave no attempt was made... More

Nothing special here, taste like a Chilies. Just your average commercial franchised food made to look like it's Mexican. I really wouldn't ever eat here again compared to all the really good mom and pop restaurants in Memphis.

Not my first choice for Mexican, but is close to the office and had a patio, which was our #1 priority for the outing. Food was okay - service was good!

This restaurant is across the street from a mall and part of a shopping center…so why does the staff act like they were not expecting any customers on a Saturday? Service terrible. Waitress sat down at the table with me? Did not know the menu. Place was trashed. Bathroom was a mess. So - just like the other reviews- terrible... More

Why do people go to this chain? The food is mediocre at best. Service is ok but really the food is just soso. If you want real Mexican there's no point to this restaurant.

Aside from the feeling I'd be jumped for my purse anytime.......the service...horrible...I server "Kevin" was a joke. We sat on the patio where the group of morons beside us were told they could not smoke by said waiter....also said waiter said it's ok just keep 'em down. Nice! And when I complained to this idiot waiter he just rolled his... More

The Southaven On The Border allows smoking. We requested a table on the opposite side from the smoking section, but could still smell (and breathe in) the cigarette smoke. The food was below average for On The Border. We won't be back to this location.
