The restaurant has outstanding Italian food- the lasagna and Italian sausage is outstanding, This atmosphere is ok, very clean and very reasonable prices. I have eaten there at dinner time only. t

Really, the is Memphis classic. Last time we were in Memphis, in June, we went to the original on South Parkway. The salad there was incredible; the one on Appling..just so so. But the BBQ pizza? As always, just incredible. Service was perfectly acceptable. Kept my tea filled; got me a to-go glass. Love, love Colettas.

Took family from Indianapolis here for a wedding celebration. First the service was the worst thing, I can deal with bad food if you have great service, the server let drinks run dry. I am someone that eats here relatively often. So when I had out of town guests from Indianapolis, I made a reservation to take them to Collettas... More

My daughter and her fiancé had their rehearsal dinner there. All of us that sat together had a bad experience. All of our meals were cold. I ask for coffee and when I ask for a refill you would have thought they had to pick the beans themselves. The roll was cold and hard as a rock. The catilloni that... More

1st time visiting after hearing from several co workers raving about the food and my last. I must say the best thing of my meal was the water. We arrive in a slow lull before the dinner rush began and were seated right away. Our server came and asked about our drinks and left right away. Then it went downhill,... More

We had an antipasto salad with Italian dressing which was very good! We also ordered the famous BBQ pizza, I was less impressed. It had a lot of meat on it but not a lot of flavor. The sauce squirted all over the top tasted more like flavorless pizza sauce instead of BBQ sauce, I expected a sweet tangy BBQ... More

In a slow restaurant we waited at least 10 minutes before we were greeted and once our order was taken, we never saw our waitress again until we hunted her down to ask for the check.

It's all good, but we love the barbecue pizza and the eggplant parmigiana. The rolls are very light and fluffy and FRESH!

We have been visiting Coletta's since our college days in the early 1960's, first at the original So. Parkway location, then at the Summer Ave location till it burned down, and now at the Appling location close to our house. Last Friday at about 4:15PM we arrived and asked for a table by the windows. The dining room was almost... More

We came here on a recommendation from a teenager (which will never happen again !) Coletta's is a family-style restaurant whose great claim to fame is a gorgeous, if not ostentatious, fountain in the middle of the dining room. That, unfortunately, is where the fascination ends. The service was quite slow and brusque when it did finally arrive. My husband... More
