The restaurant atmosphere is really nice, even though some areas seem small. My party shared a salad, had the fish and lamb chops entrees and ended with the sorbet and bananas foster souffle. The entrees were beautifully presently and tasted great! Before dinner, we were treated to complimentary samples of spring rolls and sorbet that were great! Chef Erling Jensen... More

My husband gets weekly emails from EJ's advertising the Friday Wine Dinner Menus. It was my birthday, so we splurged. We were not disappointed! We enjoyed a four course meal of gourmet food and excellently paired wines. The manager who couples the wines with the dishes personally delivered the wines at the beginning of each course and described the type... More

Great meal tonight with business associates from out of town. All of us ordered apps, soup, main course. Everything was fresh and prepared very well. I had the oysters app and buffalo main course. Outstanding! Service was good. Bananas Foster for desert was very good. I will definitely be back.

Easy to find, easy to park, and easy to order....everything is excellent. It is indeed a rare find that is perfect and this place is. Suggest that you try the bar to obtain the local flavor, conversation and all three menus! Service was beyond excellent. Hot tasty and timely come to mind. The acceptance by the regulars was brilliant and... More

This used to be my FAVORITE restaurant but we had not been there in the past year. Boy, has it gone down hill. We had invited a business friend to dine with us and I was quite embarrassed on the food and dessert. I had read a bad review but thought that the chef had taken a day off, he... More

I traveled to Memphis with my two daughters (sophisticated world travelers all) to celebrate my little brother's 50th birthday. Brother made the reservation and we were the first guests in the door - greeted by chef, sommelier and hostess as one. We were seated in the front left dining room and the first sign of good things to come was... More

From the moment we walked in we were treated as welcome guests at a fine dining restaurant. Menu items and specials were explained with knowledge and care. Every dish included a beautiful presentation and preparation. (Very fresh food with a variety of options.) While Erling Jensens is not a vegan restaurant we had a vegan guest with us and every... My wife's favorite. As usual Chef delivered yet another wonderful meal. They went the extra step to help us celebrate my wife's birthday.

We are from Chicago, so good food is not hard to find. On our last trip to Memphis we had several dinners out at the major hot spots. One was way overrated, I mean way overrated. Erlings however was not the case. We walked in and was greeted by the chef. Seemed odd but later found out he now ensures... More
