We reserved space for a group of 23 for a rehearsal dinner. The service, atmosphere, and food were all excellent. The presentation was perfect and the staff was very flexible and pleasant. This was my second visit. I visit Memphis quite often and will definitely be back.

I have only been here once but with a group of people so I could sample a represntative selection of their offerings. I also wnnt with someone who had been there several times so I feel that I can offer a fair review. Not every place I go to prepares fish and meat dishes with such skill. The scallops were... More

By the time businessmen had distanced themselves to the bar, the dining room catered only to couples. Service was flawless, conversation subdued, and Erling Jensen performed the magic he has done so well for so long. Mesclun was our salad, lemon zest roasted salmon with parsnip puree and herb roasted mero bass were our entrees, and peach marzipan was our... More

Very nice food and fantastic service. This is probably one of the best restaurants in Memphis if you are not looking for BBQ.

With few places to go to celebrate a special occasion in Memphis, Erling Jensen Restaurant seems to have established a niche market in celebrations with people not used to fine dining. Like the song from the play, Chicago, "throw them a fiction off a magel. They'll never know you're just a bagel," we knew and were appalled. When you're charging... More

I travel a lot & eat out a lot. This was one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in a decade. Outstanding dinner.

Tonight, we celebrated a special occasion here. When they called to discuss the occasion, they asked what they could do special. They asked what type of dessert they could make, listing options they have. I asked if they had bread pudding, as this is my husband's favorite. Since it was special, they made his favorite just for him. This was... More

We have dined at Erling Jensen on various occasions and they have never disappointed. Unfortunately, my opinion changed on Valentine's Day. As most restaurants usually do, they had a pre fix menu. Meal cost was $85.00 per person. The menu included lobster bisque (it was pretty tasty), choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert. My husband had the roasted shrimp appetizer... More

We finally tried Erling Jensen and it did not disappoint! Service was excellent, our server having worked there for 17 years! Each dish was incredible...from the lobster pancake appetizer to our entrees (prime ribeye and elk chop). Warning: the blueberry cobbler is outstanding but does turn your teeth blue...but it's worth it. Must go!
