We went to Neely's with a large group. The service was great, but the food wasn't. All the meats were cooked properly and were tender, but the BBQ sauce was awful. The baked beans were pretty good, but the coleslaw was not worth eating. The barbecue spaghetti was mushy and gross. No one in our group who ordered it ate... More

Memphis is full of barbeque restaurants and Interstate is responsible for setting a reputation for great quality and taste when it comes to that barbeque. Their sauce is delicious and every side they offer is top notch. Cole slaw is always my favorite side and my favorite place to get that cole slaw is at Interstate! Their BBQ baked beans... More

Sorry excuse for BBQ. BBQ was dry and downed in nasty sauce; barely edible. Fries were the best, hot and fresh (.89 up charge for fries). We ordered the sampler platter. Food was not fresh and very greasy because it was microwaved. So greasy that I lost my appetite. Who knows when it was actually cooked. Sever was borderline rude... More

My fiance and I drove from Mobile to Memphis, to spend a week on business with the Coast Guard there. We decided to give Interstate BBQ a try on our way into town, as it's one of the "must eat at" places listed on multiple websites. Honestly? I found the whole experience to be really average. It's not in a... More

I saw the family on Food Network and always wanted to go. As a result, I went and ordered the ribs and my mom ordered the pulled pork sandwich. This place has a killer pulled pork sandwich, but not killer ribs. Good stop.

You've heard about and seen it on TV. It is a typical BBQ joint in Memphis. I had the BBQ pork platter and it tasted pretty much like every other BBQ I have eaten in West TN. I will say the sauce was really tasty. It had a great zing to it. If you are an out-of-towner, check it out.... More

Visited in June 2014 and was very pleased with my lunch at Interstate. The area wasn't great but the restaurant was clean. Service was very good and my waitress was friendly. Good experience.

The family and I recently were in Memphis and we had to try this landmark Memphis BBQ staple. Definitely worth checking it out! Food is excellent. Not in the best part of town but can't beat the food and atmosphere!

The barbeque here is good, but nothing special. I do like their barbeque spaghetti, it was delicious. The chopped beef was good, but I expected better. It was in a bad location, so I would not suggest going after dark. It is a drive from downtown and Beale Street. The staff is not friendly. You don't feel like your business is... More
