We stopped in for a few drinks and ended up staying for hours. The Jason James Trio was playing that evening and wow what a show. They are very good. He even sets the top of his piano on fire! We were sitting at the bar and had excellent seats. The bartenders were very nice and the drink prices were... More

Realizing that children are allowed in bars with food, I don't think that they should be allowed up on stage or free to roam around while the waitresses are serving, etc. Our visit was just to drink, they were out of the glasses for the JLL Hurricane, so had to do with the regular drink which was small and served... We dropped in for a cold beer. The staff was great. The bartender was awesome. This place is worth a stop in.

Beer was good, food was good, music was very good, and atmosphere was amazing! Jason James is a hell of an entertainer. We came back the next day for a beer, just to get some more of this:):)

Been there twice now and enjoyed every minute. If you like Jerry Lee Lewis - you have to love this venue. Very, very good replica in every respect. We bought his CD it was so good. And when they take a break you get to see a video of the real thing. Food servings were humongous......

This review is only for the tribute band. They are excellent. They played Jerry Lee Lewis (of course), Elvis, George Throughgood etc. They were so good I caught the tail end of next show as I was walking by later. They also set the piano on fire (drums kit too) at the end. I enjoyed it VERY much!

Fortunately, we didn't let the poor reviews of the food scare us away. While it might not be the best food in Memphis, it's better BBQ than you can get anywhere outside of Memphis. The reason to visit this joint, though, is the music, and the Saturday night we were there, the place was jumping!

This seemed to be the place we always went back to on Beale Street. We visited May 29th-31st and the Jason James Trio was playing each time. He is an awesome performer and the music was always up beat and fun! We would go to different bars throughout the night but always seems to end up there to watch the... More
