The restaurant is beautifully done and you will feel very special dining here. Three course menu and a five course menu. Also chef tasting menu. We had the three course menu which provides plenty of choices. The three course menu is $80/person. With a glass of wine you can expect to spend over $220. Service is perfect.

Traveled to Chez Philipe recently with my 2 girls and mom to have tea. Arrived at the beginning of tea time. Not sure if it was because we had children (although very well behaved) or because we were not dressed up but with only 4 tables being occupied the very rude maître d turned us away saying they were all... This restaurant is VERY elegant and a nice place to dine. But the food is overpriced and not too good. The portions are too small! We will not return.

The Chez Philippe is the most opulent dining room in Memphis, Tennessee, and enthralls gourmands who relish its Old South splendor. The Peabody Hotel's signature dining room, this upscale French restaurant is the only Forbes 4-star and AAA 4-diamond rated restaurant in the Mid-South. This is a "jackets preferred" establishment that reeks of elegance and class and the kind of... More

The professional service, famed food, and memorable service is very special! Chris, the wine professional, is so experienced and helpful, no matter what your budget! This is the place to go for memories, fine dining, great vino, and a lovely time! Historic!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very elegant and the service exceptional. The prix fixe 3 course meal gave us lovely fine dining experience. While we enjoyed our visit, the prices were a bit high. The appetizers and main courses we had were very good, however the desserts we had were a bit disappointing. All the food we had, had... More

We dined here on Saturday night as part of a package at the Peabody. It was really, really good. It feels really nice, very opulent. The food was very varied, and when it came really super quality. The chef walked round a couple of times to see how we were finding the food. The service was excellent - especially Chris... More

Chez Phillippe is one of those restaurants we save for special occasions. I was surprised to see some inconsistent reviews as all of experiences here have been exquisite. Our recent trip was no exception. Although it is pricey, the ambiance, service, and spectacular food are worth it. Eating here is an artistic experience, from the decor to food presentation, preparation,... More

What can I say? This was the best dining experience I have had anywhere! The wait staff was fantasic and personable, the decor was out of this world, the taste of the food and the presentation of the dishes were above amazing. The chef came out to greet us. We were presented with a complimentary pre-appetizer along with a complimentary... More

This is the fine dining restaurant in the Peabody Hotel. The room is elegant, the noise level was such that we could have a quiet conversation without competing with the music or other patrons and the service was attentive. However, the food did not live up to the expectations of a restaurant that has a coveted DiRona award. If we... More
